Located at the intersection of Lafayette Park, home to the world's largest collection of Mies Van der Rohe architecture, and Eastern Market, North America's largest open air food market.
My 500 sq. ft. studio is located in the center of the universe. It's a 22 story building located in an 80 acre park that connects to the Dequindre Cut (bike path) and Detroit Riverfront (views of Canada).
The Eastern Market is located 2 blocks away. The market is home to 300+ food vendors that sell local produce, poultry, fish and spices. I am about 5 blocks away from the Lion's stadium (NFL), Tiger's stadium (MLB), and Red Wing's arena (NHL).
On a more formal note, the Central Business District, Whole Foods, and all Universities/Hospitals are a 5 minute bike ride away.
It is the center of the universe.
What's mine is yours -- during your stay :-)
Interaction with guests
I will be working remotely but will have a close friend checking up on you.
Lafayette Park is a quiet, traveler-friendly community. Please be mindful that families and older residents are my neighbors.
No smoking in the unit.
