Newly converted barn cottage at a Historic Vincent Forge Forge Mansion on the banks of French Creek in rural Chester County. You’ll have plenty to enjoy at this historic place in a picturesque setting. Private patio and garden and access to extensive grounds. There is a fully equipped kitchen but a private chef is available by prior arrangement. Washer drier in the cottage. Small dogs and cats welcome for an additional fee. The cottage can sleep 4 with two additional on sleeper sofa (+cost)

The space
Entering via your private garden and patio ( with gas bbq) , on the ground floor there is an entry hall, a powder room, and a cozy living room/dining room with a full kitchen including dishwasher off to the side. Upstairs are two luxury en suit bedrooms and laundry facilities. Parking for two cars is provided at your front door. If you have more than 6 guests, historic Vincent Forge Mansion is on the estate and adjacent to the Cottage. It can sleep up to 16 guests and can be rented separately or together with the cottage

Guest access
Two steps lead to the ground floor and guests have access to the entire building except the enclosed garage space. Step free access to your private garden and patio also included as is access to the extensive grounds and the scenic banks of historic French Creek

Other things to note
The cottage is in a bucolic riparian setting yet only 10-15 minutes away from grocery, wine shop, cleaners, gym and urgent care facilities. Close to Amish country, We are central to historic cities bol war battlefields and sites and the forge itself is listed in the national Historic registry, Washington having tested there for three days after the Battle of Brandywine.
