The cabin is spacious and well designed for a group of eight, with ages ranging from six to sixty seven. The football table was especially popular since the weather was not ideal on the weekend. We were able to get out on the water a few times, and the beach was a short drive awa…

Thank you for the positive review and we appreciate how you left the cabin. I guess the broken bikes and wrench will be a mystery. It is difficult not to live closer. Leah

We had a glorious family weekend at Buckhorn Lake! The cabin felt spacious, even for our group of 11. The location is beautiful and we really took advantage of all the surrounding nature. We saw eagles, turtles, beavers, ducks(baby ducks!), bullfrogs, lighting bugs and more! Th…

Our stay at the cabin was fantastic. Leah was very communicative and prompt to respond. The cabin is well appointed and fit seven of us without an issue. The area is very quiet with a Walmart about a twenty minute drive away for provisions. I'd highly recommend it for anyone look…

Beautiful and clean cabin! Leah was very communicative before checking-in. Perfect place for a quiet, peaceful weekend away. We did notice that the cabin had hard water, so we ended up buying gallons for drinking water. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful!

Excellent location. It was super cold inside of the house and most of the firewood was wet so we had a lot of issues getting a fire started. There’s a Walmart near by so we just went and got some firewood. Once the fire was rolling the house was super nice and toasty. The house d…

Response from Leah:
The radiant heat in the floors is preprogrammed for 72 degrees, which can be augmented by the heat exchangers and the wood burning stove which looks like a beautiful stone fireplace. There is also wood starter next to the fireplace to help people start fires so it was unfortunate that you had difficulty starting a fire. My housekeeper lives near by and is available to help with any issues in the cabin and her phone number is left on the bulletin board. I am happy you appreciate that we purposefully do not have a TV. I strongly believe the need to "unplug" is even more critical to a person's health than anytime in history. Time to really connect with people is enhanced by the TV -free environment too. Leah
