Other things to note
Lasalle is a typical village in the Cevennes, built alongside 2 kilometres of the Salindrenque river, which has the luxury of 300 days of sunshine per year. Located between Anduze and St. Hippolyte du Fort, in a valley known as the “Emmerald Valley” due to the abundance of its vegetation, Lasalle was previously a central part of the local silk industry. Today it benefits from a high population of artists in all domains, including the Roy Hart Centre just 5 minutes from the village. In May of each year the Documentation Festival attracts international visitors. Throughout the summer various animations are proposed locally. Visit (URL HIDDEN) for more information.
In town you will find local bakers, butchers, supermarket, paper-shop and tobacconist, Bio shop, tea shop, chemist and post-office. Monday and Friday mornings the market runs through the town with locally produced food and products.

The summer beach in Alès, offers daily activities such as volley-ball, pedalo and swimming in the Gardon River.
