Our beach house was the first one ever built in Anchor point. It was constructed in 1990 by some of the first and finest surfers in Morocco, it is only 10 metres from the sea and sometimes at high tide you can even feel the spray from the ocean.

The space

We have hosted several surf champions such as Rury Russel, Mikey Dora and Gary Elkerton while hosting 100's more from all over the world. You can enjoy the waves from the balcony and when in bed all you have to do is lift your head and you can see the surf.

This house is the best you can get in this beautiful region, it is very authentic but at the same time chic with killer views and the sun hits you from sunrise to sunset.

Guest access

The surrounding environment is very surf oriented, it is only a 10 minute walk to the local surfing mecca of Taghazout but the house is far enough away to feel disconnected and to get away from it all. There is of course wifi but there is no TV, which can only be a good thing .

Interaction with guests

If surfing is not your thing, there are so many other things to do, from mountain trails to desert adventures, fishing to shopping at the Souk, or just read a book and relax in the sun.

Other things to note

The price is per night if you are three people or less, and 10 extra euros for every extra person. The capacity is for 5, which is the same number for the beds in the bedrooms, but we also have two beds downstairs, if you don't mind being more than 5 !
The kitchen has only basic equipment. Don't expect a full equipped kitchen.
We do not provide towels, nor hygiene products.

One word. Epic. Couldn't thank Saad and Mounia enough for the stay. Perfect rustic accom for the traveling surfer. Thanks again.

Excellent communication with Mounia throughout and having her dad next door was a bonus. As a group of surfers it was an ideal location for Anchors point (doesnt get better tbh). Accomodation is basic, but has what you need and the balcony area out front is great for the sun/ checking the surf.

The situation was second to none. Gentle amble down the foreshore to Taghazout (20 mins). Need to bring your own basics (including toilet paper, matches for gas stove, and dishwashing gear. Inner sheets and pillow slips recommended too).

This house is simply the best taghazout location, great atmosphere with the balcony over the sea. Perfect for sleeping with the sound of waves and checking the surf machine from the bed when you wake up. Saad, Mounia and their family are very attentive and helpful, giving immediate support whenever needed, from pre-arrival information, check-in and during the stay.
