Pundamilia house is our ‘Posh Bush’ home! The luxury house is beautifully furnished in a ‘modern minimalist' style, with 4 ensuite bedrooms looking out onto a water hole, and a private gate into one of the best wildlife conservancies in Kenya.

The space
The house has all mod- cons with a contemporary, fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher and washing machine. There is an open plan dining area and comfortable sitting room with an inviting log fire.
There are two verandas upstairs with views over the water hole, and downstairs there is a spacious covered veranda and outside eating area and a breakfast area.
During the day, you can see impala and zebra walking by and drinking at the water hole and at night you will often hear the roar of lions and whoop of hyenas, coming from Ol Pejeta.

The gate into Ol Pejeta is a stone's throw away from the house and the conservancy is one of the best game viewing places in Kenya. You can see, Lions, Elephants, Black and White Rhino, Buffalo, Cheetah, Leopards and many other species. Activities on Ol Pejeta include lion tracking, guided bush walks, Rhino tracking, and more. There is a very nice restaurant, Moranis, where you can have brunch or lunch after exciting game drives.
Ol Pejeta is special in many ways but it is unique in that it is the only Rhino and Chimpanzee sanctuary in kenya.

Besides being part of Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Pundamilia house is a short drive from several other wildlife conservancies, including Solio Ranch, Ol Jogi Conservancy, Sosian Ranch and Lewa downs, and the house is only two hours away from the Samburu and Buffalo Springs National Reserves.

Hi I am Barbara, and together with my two teenage children, Kaya and Khadia I am lucky enough to own Pundamilia house next to Ol Pejeta conservancy, Kenya. We spend as much time as we can here, but are based in Nairobi due to school!
I am a wildlife film maker so Pundamilia house is my ideal home as I love being in the bush,it is a perfect base, as you can safely enjoy being amongst wild animals on foot, or go into the conservancy in a car for out of this world game viewing.
My children and I make a monthly vlog for Ol Pejeta conservancy, about our safaris here, so take a look on the web site and look for ‘our vlog’ and you will get an idea of how lovely it is here!

During your stay

You will be welcomed to Pundamila house by Ephie, a friendly helpful care taker, who will show you around the house and introduce you to the estate and see you off when you leave. Should you need help or advise during your stay Ben, the estate manager will be close at hand.
All you have to bring is your food, and drinking water; everything else is provided.
If you require regular cleaning services, or a cook it can be arranged by MKWE office before your arrival.
