The space

This charming garden apartment is presented in immaculate condition and is perfectly set up for holiday stays. The accommodation comprises: Large luxury open-plan style reception room and kitchen, natural dining area, a large master bedroom, small 2nd bedroom/study with sofa bed, shower room, separate cloakroom, utility cupboard, large terrace.

Guest access

The property is a secure self-contained garden flat with its own private access. Please note that the owner lives in the house above and has use of part of the garden - the apartment has exclusive use of the patio terrace which extends immediately out from large sliding doors. Please note also that there is a door between the garden flat and the main house but this is securely locked during a guests stay and is therefore not in use. NB the owner has cats and dogs which might roam the garden from time to time.

Butchers, bakers and candlestick makers

The local branch of Daylesford Organic, on Westbourne Grove, provides all manner of provisions
-at a price. Those on the hunt for bread can shop in the aforementioned emporium or walk around the corner to Ottolenghi (or, as some call it, ‘Lotto-spendi’), and anyone in search of perfumed candles can pop into Diptyque.


Tom’s Deli on Westbourne Grove or The Grocer on Elgin and Mr Christian’s (both on Elgin Crescent) are well stocked with all manner of delicious gastronomic goodies.


Perhaps London’s most famous market, Portobello Market takes up a two-mile long stretch of Portobello Road, and is split up into different sections. When walking up from the Tube, antiques
is the first section you come across, next is food, and, finally, fashion is a collection of stalls that sprawls under the Westway. For good fruit and veg, head straight for the stalls opposite the Electric Cinema.

I absolutely loved my stay here, the decor and furnishing is exactly my vibe. The place is clean and very well maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped. The view in to the back garden is great, very peaceful. The dogs are friendly and come and say hi every now and again. The flat is located near everything you could need in Notting hill/Westbourne grove. Portobello is a 5 minute walk away. All in all one of the best places I've stayed with airbnb. And I've stayed at a lot! I've already booked my next stay!

I loved staying here. I left today and already miss it. The garden is beautiful and it's a great location. It's close walk to Portobello road and a very close to a tube stop... but just far enough away to be quiet. Perfect mix. Very spacious and comfortable. Next time I'm in London for a stay I will be going back.

Robin and his team were very responsive, though in some instances not as organized as I expected. Greeted me upon my arrival with a walkthrough of the flat. Stunning flat with a serenely beautiful view of the garden. You don't get use of the garden, but the view alone is worth it. The flat was open, stylish, comfortable, and warm, though I would recommend it for 2 guests max as the 2nd sofa bed is suited for sitting, not sleeping. It was also meticulously clean when I arrived. I didn't have reliable internet for the first two and a half weeks; Robin and the owner did their best to make it right. Neighborhood can't be beat, and you're a stone's throw from the tube station.
