Our previous tent in the woods has had an upgrade - its now made of wood, insulated, sturdy and has an awesome balcony

The bunk beds are no longer in the cabin, but it now has a fold out futon and floor mattresses. No bedding. No heating.
Perfect for anyone wanting the 'wild camp' feel as its located 400m from the farm and the other campers in a private wooded area by a stream that runs towards the sea.
Very quiet - except wildlife.

The space
The cabin has a 12"x12" footprint and is made from rough cut wood with insulated walls, packed with our own sheep's wool.
It has 1 double futon and floor mattresses, table and a few chairs - its pretty simple. Most the furniture is outside with a picnic bench and various logs to sit on round the fire.
The lodge is situated on a private pathway heading down to where I go sea fishing.

Although this listing states there are only 4 floor mattresses - if you had a 5th or 6th member that didnt mind sleeping on the floor, there is enough room for more - just pay the price for 4 and bring your mates. But no complaining its cramped yeah, cos it will be a little squeeze.

Guest access
You will have access to the camping site, toilet block and showers, car park, wifi by the farmhouse and area surrounding the tent.
We are happy for people to use the house to charge any devices.

Other things to note
You can purchase wood on the farm or bring your own.
There is open water that may not be suitable for unattended children.
The private sea fishing/swimming point is by invite only and at your own risk as its a bit of a slope with a rope.
Parking is 400m away - but I can lend a hand unpacking and packing.

Location

Cardigan, Pembrokeshire, United Kingdom

The national geographic rated the Pembrokeshire National Coast Path Walk one of the best walks in the world and it is now joined to the rest of the country as the National Wales Coast Path.
Allt y Coed farm is situated near the start and has the first Gate (1) as the campsite entrance with gate 3 attached to the front of the farm wall.
As well as walking the the coast or other inland walkways, St Dogmaels is our local village where there is a spar for supplies, a market on Thusdays, a Water mill making fresh bread, the ducks to feed at the pond and the abbey ruins.
Just further along is the town of cardigan where you can do some bigger shopping and also visit some of the many coffee shops and local businesses. Cardigan Castle is also now open to the public and well worth a visit.

Hi there all and welcome, we are Helen and Barry from Alltycoed farm and camping site. We are a working sheep and pony farm with over 200+ sheep, 15+ welsh cobs and ponies, a few goats, ducks, cats and dogs along with plenty of other wildlife to spot. We enjoy having gate number 1 of the pembrokeshire coast path walk as our farm entrance with facilities to stay and pitch a tent, park a car, lounge in a yurt or roll in with a small camper van. We have a new toilet block with underfloor heating comprising of a disabled/family wet room + separate toilets and showers for men and women.
