About this listing
Our home is a little sanctuary from the city! Our beautiful bungalow-style house features two full bedrooms (one of which is yours to stay in), a "lazy loft", a large kitchen, and endless sunlight. Did we mention it's a two minute walk from the beach?
Long Beach is a sweet "beach city" located under an hour from Manhattan. Our house is cozy, sunny, and perfect for a get-away (no matter what time of year it is!). Feel free to drop off your things before check-in time or keep your things with us after check-out if you want to squeeze in some extra beach time. We are happy to share our two beach passes with guests whenever we can as well as sheets to spread out on the beach!
You will have full access to your bedroom and the common areas of the house--living room, kitchen, bathroom, loft, front and back patios. The only area that will be restricted is our basement which we use for storage and our bedroom.
Interaction with guests
Up to you! We are very friendly but always busy with work, so we're happy to stay out of your way if that's what you prefer.
Other things to note
We have an awesome, friendly cat named Harry (he's a guest favorite!). We generally keep him out of the guest room in case of allergies, but if you're highly allergic you may want to consider bringing some Zyrtec. If you're not allergic, then Harry will definitely make your stay extra special. :)
Just the basics - treat our home like it's your home, and we'll make sure to make you feel as "at home" as possible! We request that there be no smoking. You are welcome to use the front and back patio areas for meals, socializing, etc. but we try to keep noise minimal out of respect for our neighbors. Thank you!

I am a professional dancer in NYC and a dance studio director here in Long Beach. My husband, Aaron, is a professional musician (singer, guitar player, trombonist). We met on tour in 2011 and got married in 2014. We've done a great deal of traveling for work (all 50 states!) and appreciate how challenging it can be to live out of a suitcase. We started using Airbnb when we honeymooned in Maine (lobster - mmmmm....) and loved everything about staying in someone's home rather than a boring hotel room. We recently bought our house here in Long Beach, and so far we're really enjoying hosting people from all over the world!
