The room was perfect with an amazing view to wake up to every morning. John was so kind and stayed up for our later than expected arrival. Can't wait to stay again.

John and sandy have a beautiful home in a beautiful location. The view is spectacular. However, there are a few points that might be helpful for others: 1) the closest town is about 15mins away, and the restaurants close quite early, so you might want to bring snacks etc. they do have a fridge and a freezer that you can use, but no microwave or anything to warm food with. 2) the windows are lined with transparent blinds. When the bedroom light was on, we could see into the bedroom completely. 3) we drove 5 hours to the place, and had a 45 min orientation of the place right after getting there. It was kind of the host to do that, but perhaps letting us freshen up first or waiting until we ask questions might have been a better option.

I found John and Sandy to be wonderful hosts that exceeded my expectations. They are available if needed but offer privacy too. My room and communal area was immaculate and cozy, get ready for relaxation. They offer fridge and freezer area so bring your stash of food. Peaceful nature is everywhere. There is rugged trails that leave off the property, you can hike yourself silly and your navigation skills will be tested! I saw a barred owl, woodpeckers, many deer and turkey. There is a fantastic sunset and sunrise right outside your door. They provided much knowledge of the area for their guests to consider. Enjoy the view!
