Wow!! Such a beautiful place - small, but has everything you need and the decor is perfect. Sheep greet you the minute you arrive and become your friends instantly! The area and surroundings are stunning. Lots of lovely walks and little villages and towns to explore. The owners were great - answered all our questions but left us to our own devices totally. Really, REALLY highly recommended!

Lovely quiet place. We slept very well. Good quality bed and bedding. Very spacious. Only other comment is that if you have a very low-slung car the drive is a bit bumpy!

Is in a beautiful location in the countryside. Would recommend the walk around the lake. Is pretty easy to find with directions from the host and a sat nav. The cottage is clean and cosy, and is ideal for campfires and star-gazing once the sun goes down. Would recommend staying here to anyone

Lois and her Farm are amazing, well if your wanting the real deal that is :) We were looking for a farm stay during Easter/Spring break with the hopes of seeing some Lambing. Lois was wonderful, she let our Daughter bottle feed a rejected Lamb and let us help out around the place as we were looking for a hands on experience, we could not have asked for a better stay. The cottage is lovely, cozy, and comfortable. It has a wood burning stove and lovely comfy beds and bedding. She has taken a lot of care to be thoughtful of what guest might like, from interesting books to a printed walk of the area. I loved the record player :) This is a real cottage on a real Farm, a very authentic experience. If you are simply looking to escape and unwind, you could easily just enjoy the solitude, relax and look out over the stunning pasture.

What an amazing weekend at the cottage. Check in process and directions sent where very easy, communication was top notch. We loved the vibe on the farm and waking up to the sheep and even seeing one day old Lambs! Totally relaxing environment. Lois was very friendly and we enjoyed interacting with her and her family on the evenings. Hopefully we will be back to stay and explore the area more later in the year!

We really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings with its peaceful setting. We especially loved the record player and played ' Nina Simone' . Lois was extremely helpful and having a disability the wet room shower was a bonus. The accommodation was clean and very well catered, even a dishwasher if you wanted a complete break. Our 10 year old daughter loved all of the wooded area and watching the sheep through the french doors. The only suggestion would be for a better sign post. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you The Harwoods

Had a great stay in this spacious 1 bed cottage. Great location to explore the area, with a lovely walk to a lake near by. Amazing place to eat 15 min drive (wrights food emporium). Would highly recommended.
