Spacious open plan living / dining room has beamed ceilings with a central wood burner. Comfortable seating area with Freesat TV, DVD, radio etc. vaulted ceilings and exposed timbers throughout this level. One bedroom on this level and a further two bedrooms downstairs. Linen and towels provided.

The space

The Mill is a beautiful old building which has been lovingly restored into a beautiful home. With everything you will need for a fabulous break here in Cornwall.
The hamlet of Castle is conveniently situated ten minutes from the A30, which makes the whole of Cornwall very accessible. We are 1 mile from Lostwithiel and about four miles from Fowey in a secluded wooded valley.

We do accept one dog by prior arrangement only.
Parking is available on the preceding driveway of The Mill, there is room for 2-3 cars, on the cobble stones. There is NO ACCESS to The Mill via the Cow Barns gateway, and no parking is allowed on The Cow Barns property. The area outside the Cow Barn in NOT a communal area. The only access from The Mill into the Cow Barns property to collect logs for the properties wood burner, which is accessed down some steps from The Mills patios area. Please follow your directions carefully, to insure that you park in the correct allotted spaces.

Great find for us and a wonderful base for our family holiday. Perfect location for everything we wanted to do. Farm house is great and had everything we needed. Felt like we were right at home, would certainly recommend for anyone!

The Mill is an absolutely amazing property. It is very unique in its layout and allows you great family living in the communal spaces like the comfortable living area and lovely extremely well equipped kitchen but at the same time it offers privacy with the 3 separate bathrooms and the bedrooms are also spread out nicely around the house. The location is quiet and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family.

In my spare time I ride my horse, breed chickens and grow veg !
We have travelled to France, Portugal, Barbados, Trinidad, South Africa..... & most of the South of England with our cricketing son.
Love 80's music - last year at the Eden Project we saw Spandau Ballet, Elton John & Motorhead (!). Really love good food & wine (used to sell fresh fish & wine in Fowey), favourite food is Wild Sea Bass and favourite wine is New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

My life motto is to do something fun at least once a day!
