About This Listing
Check out all my listings! :-) Please note, I don't accept reservations more than 3 months in advance...
This great little duplex is sunny, sweet & comfortable. The landmarked rowhouse is on a very quiet tree-lined residential street in Brooklyn's booming Greenpoint Historic District, on the riverfront just north of bustling Williamsburg. Walk to the Bedford "L" subway stop, or just a few blocks from the Greenpoint "G" stop. East River Ferry service (with multiple stops in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens) is ~5 blocks from the house, on the India St waterfront. Plenty of restaurants, bars, boutiques, cafes, galleries, banks, gyms, etc all within blocks.
I love this neighborhood, and you will too!
This duplex is located on the lower 2 levels of a historic rowhouse.
First floor: open living/kitchen area with full bath
Lower "Garden" floor: bedroom & laundry access
The bedroom has a full/double size bed, and the living room has a sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishware & glassware, and linens are of course provided as well.
Window air conditioning unit & WiFi.
Everything at the house is quite self-explanatory!
Checkin at 2pm, checkout at 11am, though I do try to be accommodating with arrival & departure times so let's please coordinate directly.
Please make sure to recycle your trash; bags/receptacles will be provided: paper, regular trash, and glass/plastic/metal.
You are more than welcome to have your friends over and I certainly want you to make yourself at home and enjoy your stay, but please no big parties & no groups of total strangers :-) This is a historic neighborhood of rowhouses so please also be respectful of the neighbors, all of whom are very nice (close front door quietly rather than slamming, etc).
Have a wonderful visit!
Maya's house was roomy, comfortable and perfectly located near the G train (and Peter Pan donuts!)
The listing showed AC but it wasn't installed when we got there. I wrote Maya about it and she replied quickly and had it installed within the day. Super responsive and ready to help. Highly recommend!
We absolutely loved our stay at the house in Greenpoint. Maya was so accommodating from start to finish. The house was as beautiful in person as it was online. I was worried about there being no air conditioning but the house stayed cool the entire time. We had work at the Brooklyn Expo Center so the location could not have been better. Greenpoint is a wonderful neighborhood and we are so happy we had the chance to explore it a bit. I look forward to returning in the near future. Thank you Maya for your awesome hospitality!
This is our second visit to one of Maya's properties. This particular location worked out great for my husband and I. It was in a perfect location and it fit our needs as far as safety and comfort. It's an adorable apartment that has everything a couple needs. Maya was very accommodating as always. We will be back. We may try the historic storefront again. Wow! Can't believe the new park by the water.. How lucky is that.
