Private carriage house, fully furnished. It has everything you need to stay as long as you like. The space comfortably sleeps two, but with two queen-sized beds, can accommodate up to four. The carriage house is located above the garage, with stair access only. Beautifully styled, it will feel like a home away from home. Laundry and house-keeping service potentially available for longer stays and additional cost.
You will have access to free, secure wifi, off-street parking, cable, yoga mats, beach chairs and toys, fenced in yard space, and outdoor seating.
Kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, strainer, dishes, glasses, cutlery, corkscrew, can opener, teapot, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, filters for the coffeemaker, microwave, linen and paper towels, dishtowels, salt and pepper (and other seasonings).
Also provided are linens, towels (including beach towels), basic toiletries (in case you forget yours), hairdryer, iron and iron board, books, t.v., dvd player, board games and cards.
Walk to the community North Shore pool ($5) and tennis courts (free). Rent a kayak from down the street or a boat from the marina.
Interaction with guests
We can greet you when you arrive and if you like, share advice about where to go and what to do. The carriage house is above our garage. We live in the main house at the front of the property.

Welcome to Old Northeast, St. Pete's most sought-after neighborhood. Walk to downtown, Vinoy (hosts outdoor events nearly every weekend), St. Pete, Marina, bars and restaurants, Sunken Gardens, corner stores/CVS, The Palladium, St. Petersburg Aquarium and Pier, Tropical Smoothie, Baywalk and Muvico 20, community tennis courts and swimming pool, and sand volley ball at a nearby Tampa Bay beach.
Catch a Tampa Bay Rays game at Tropicana Field, or cheer on our home town soccer team, the Rowdies at Al Lang Stadium. Shop at the Saturday (and Wednesday) Farmer's Market.
Visit the Salvador Dali Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg Museum of History, or Florida's Holocaust Museum.
Enjoy nearby kayaking, sailing, golfing, biking, sunbathing, and swimming. The apartment is also within a few miles of Publix, Sweetbay, Rolling Oats, Fresh Market, CVS, and Walgreens.
The carriage house is walking or biking distance from nearly everything you could hope for. Quaint open-air trolleys (for $0.50) and buses are also available and within walking distance. It is right off the Pinellas Trail (a bike path that takes you to the Gulf coast beaches).
It is a twenty minute drive from Tampa International Airport and St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport, and walking distance from Albert Whitted Airport.
It is ten blocks from the interstate and a thirty minute drive to world famous beach destinations: Treasure Island, Clearwater Beach, and Fort de Soto.
Bike and kayak rentals are available nearby.
Other things to note
Owners live on the property in the main house. Saint Petersburg, Florida has some of the best weather in the U.S., it is sunny almost every day of the year.
There are almost always events or concerts going on every weekend: Honda Grand Prix; St. Anthony's Triathlon; Tampa Bay Blues Festival; Rib Fest. Concert venues Jannus Live (formerly, Jannus Landing) and State Theatre, as well as a number of local breweries, are walking distance.
There are myriad restaurants, galleries, boutiques, fitness centers, museums, cafes, and parks to walk or bike to. St. Pete has an ever-expanding bike sharing program.
The carriage house is in Historic Old Northeast, which is a landmark on the National Register of Historic Places, maintained by the U.S. National Park Service. Enjoy the area's unique architecture as you walk through the brick-lined neighborhood.
Since the carriage house is convenient to the interstate, other Tampa bay area attractions are just a short drive away: Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; Busch Gardens; Ybor City and downtown Tampa.
There are instructions regarding linens, trash, recycling, as well as suggestions regarding coffee shops, beaches, etc. on the refrigerator.
The carriage house is non-smoking (violators will lose their security deposit). Pets are not allowed. This is a residential neighborhood, so a noise curfew from 10pm-8am will be enforced. The maximum number of guests is limited to 4 people. The apartment is ideal for mature couples/friends.
Keep the property and all furnishings and equipment in good order. Only use appliances for their intended uses.
The Homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
Guest shall allow Homeowner representative access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection. The representative shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner.
There is no daily housekeeping service. Linens and towels are included in the unit. Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate, but may be arranged for an additional fee for guests staying longer than seven days.
If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless: The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or a "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest. The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund: any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered; any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.
