Truly a lovely view from the patio. More like a summer rental than a B&B. There are no sundries in the kitchen and any soap or paper products need to be bought at the shop down the hill. It's a large space with OK wifi, stays relatively cool but fans would be appreciated on the warmer nights. Vietri is lovely and spared the onslaught of tourists in Amalfi. There is no supermarket in the town so if you're without a car you can shop at the local markets, great cheese, meat, fruit and veg in individual shops. Be warned, it's a big trek back if loaded with groceries. Access to busses and the local train is good. The Amalfi bus can get really packed, be prepared. The train to pompei was under repair when we were there but it drops you about a 15min walk from gate. We were 6 people and it worked great if you're ok with 2 people sleeping on the couches (they're essentially single beds). The handyman/grounds keeper for the collection of homes - Delgado - is very charming and can be helpful. Other details, small 4 burner stove (propane) with oven, decent European sized fridge, plenty of utensils and dishes. The hike/walk to the beach is nice, the way back up is good excercise. The tree trunk in the living room is a fun, unique feature, the ants that congregate in the kitchen, not so much.
