Free off-street parking (although it’s a bit tricky in this typically narrow Wellington Street and is not designed to accommodate large vehicles such as camper vans!)
Please note the apartment is on the second level of a building housing just two apartments - it is not in a multi-storey high rise building. There are some steps and a path leading from the carpark and the street to the front door, making it unsuitable for those needing flat access.
You’ll love being in Thorndon – it’s is a fantastic area to explore on foot. The quaint, narrow streets are lined with homes built by Wellington’s early settlers. It’s home to Premier House (the Prime Minister’s residence), embassies and historic sites such as Old St Pauls Cathedral and Katherine Mansfield House. Within walking distance are the Cable Car, Te Papa (the National Museum), the Museum of City and Sea, Parliament Buildings, the National Library, Archives New Zealand and Westpac Stadium.
There is easy access to the North and South motorway, the Cook Strait Ferry terminals and the Railway Station.
