Wake up to the ocean breeze and surf. French doors open to ocean facing patio w/the pool and palapa steps away. Pillow top Queen mattress. Surf break in front of the house. Many local restaurants within 5-15 min walk. Shared kitchenette.
Beautiful home, grounds and location! Loved the fresh coffee and fruit every morning. The pool and outdoor space was amazing. Everything was immaculate. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and we always had fresh water and ice. If you like to walk the beach, this is perfect. Great food along the beach and in town. The waves and rip currentry were heavy duty during the week we stayed. Taxis are plentiful and cheap to get around the area. We had a great couple in the room next to ours and had some memorable adventures! Thank you LeAnne and Craig!!
Staying at Leanne's was a lovely experience. They have a beautifully landscaped yard. A serene environment for relaxing, sunning or a dip in the pool when you are not out on the beach. Beach access is only a few steps through the gate ~ super convenient. Leanne and her husband made me feel very welcome. Leanne offered me a ride to yoga class with her in the mornings. A bonus for me since I did not have a car. Craig even fixed my sandal that had decided to start falling apart. I can honestly say they go over and above! The room was very clean and I felt very safe there. The rooms are very pretty, nice bathroom and shower with good water pressure. The rooms have AC, but with the cool breeze from the ocean I didn't need that. A nice surprise was that coffee and fruit were set out for me each morning. I felt like a princess to be able to walk out on to my private patio area and have breakfast prepared. Besides the normal bedding and bath towels Leanne also supplies luxurious beach towels. I would highly recommend Leanne's for a very nice place to stay in Troncones. Angie
A perfect beachfront "Casa" close to town, restaurants & almost opposite a great cafe. Rooms are beautifully appointed in a modern Mexican style , with polished concrete floors, colourful rugs & stylish ornaments. Air-cond & a ceiling fan of course! The bed was super comfy! Nothing seems to have been overlooked - in your room you'll find a safe, bathroom amenities, reading material including Leanne's tips on things to do incl restaurants ect... there's even a torch in your room for u to take out in the evenings. Beach towels, boogie boards , beach chairs , umbrellas are all on hand for complimentary use. There were so many lovely additional little nice touches, a fruit plate & good strong coffee everymorning. A freshly squeezed juice waiting in the fridge along with other little niceties. Each of the private 2 rooms have their own shady terrace with comfy chairs that overlook the thatched palapa & pool. The beautiful beach is right there in front of you. There's a walk through kitchen area for guests to prepare snacks & store their Food & Bev in a shared fridge. The gardens are full of flowering hibiscus, bougainvilleas & other colourful plants. We would sit in the morning drinking our coffee watching the hummingbirds dart back & forth in front of our room. Beautiful! - we'll be back for sure & couldn't consider staying anywhere else. Thanks Leanne, you're a great host!
Casa Sol y Luna was absolutely fantastic. We arrived on New Year's Eve, and were greeted with margaritas in the fridge just in time for sunset! Leanne did everything possible to help make us feel welcome. She also went out of her way to set up reservations for us that evening, so we had absolutely no worries when we arrived. The room and property are clean and comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to sleep, swim, eat, or relax with some super cool hosts.
Leanne and Craig were great hosts and were very flexible with us when we needed to add a date on the front end of our reservation, had to check in late and gave us some leeway on checking out to accommodate our flight schedule. Wiley their sweet black lab was great as well. We look forward to staying with them again!
