Our place is close to the city centre, great views, parks, walking tracks, museum, art and culture, beach, restaurants and dining, bars and nightlife. Our place is good for couples and business guests alike.

You’ll love the original features of our lovely century old villa as well as the comfy guest room with views over the city and harbour.

We have another AirBnB room upstairs called the Roxburgh Room.

The space
Welcome to our home, an Edwardian Villa built in the 1890's. By Mt Victoria standards, it is large at almost 200 square metres in area. The guest room is upstairs at the back of the house and has views across the city as well of Queens Wharf and inner harbour and all day sun.

Guest access
Our place is yours, so make yourself comfortable in your room or downstairs in the guest lounge or in the kitchen or dining room.

Other things to note
Wellington was voted as 'The Coolest Little Capital in the World' in the Loneley Planet 2011 guide to Best in Travel. Despite its impetuous weather, Wellington is crammed with more bars, cafes and restaurants per capita than New York.

Nestled in green hills and within a protective harbour, the capital city of Wellington has a laid back vibe yet offers some of the best shopping, arts and nightlife in the country.

After a day of checking out the numerous galleries and museums indulge in boutique beer and innovative cuisine in award winning restaurants. Some fantastically accessible nature experiences are within a short drive of the city so get up close and personal with some of New Zealand’s iconic wildlife in an informative and fun environment.

If you find yourself in Wellington in September don't miss the Brancott Estate World of WearableArt Awards Show. More than an art exhibition, more than a fashion show and more than an awards show, it is a montage of theatre, dance, colour and movement that takes art off the wall and on to the moving body.

Wellington’s entertainment hub, with bars and restaurants of all types starts at Courtenay place, just 500 metres or less than 10 minutes’ walk from our house.

Whether you are after fast food/take-away or a sit-down experience there are restaurants to suit almost all tastes.

Located in the inner-city suburb of Mt Victoria, we are only 8 minutes’ walk from the entertainment and restaurant centre of Wellington and close to school, museum, art gallery, cinema, bars and nightlife. Mt Vic is known for its Edwardian homes, many of which retain original features despite being renovated to current standards.

I prefer slow travel, lingering in a place and experiencing its people and its rhythm not to mention the food, with little adventures along the way. I have travelled to some of the worlds most beautiful cities Paris, Rome, Venice, London, Vienna, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, Sydney, Melbourne , Buenos Aires and to Fiji and Vanuatu in the Pacific. My partner Alejandra is from Argentina and together we enjoy staying in Airbnb because of the people we get to meet and the way they help to get the true feeling of the place in which we stay. The people we meet along the way and the friendships we form are the part of the journey that are most memorable ! Together we speak English, Spanish and a little Italian.
