Whether you are planning a holiday, a weekend away, just passing through, or considering buying property in the area, Stephen and I can offer you our hospitality. Our farmhouse is situated on a quiet lane 2kms from the village of Champ du Boult.

The space
Our farmhouse is set in 2 1/2 acres of land and the surrounding fields are home to our animals, Dillon the donkey, Pepi the pony and our family of sheep and lambs.
Our location is ideal for visiting the many attractions here in Normandy, the D-day landing beaches, Mont Saint Michel, Bayeux and all the neighbouring towns and city, alternatively, you can sit in the garden and relax.
Our nearest town of Vire (11 kms) has a diverse range of restaurants, bistro's and bars, visit the local independent shops that have lots to offer and the various large supermarkets, a wine stock is a must to take back home.
As an alternative to eating out, why not book a four course dinner with Stephen and I, especially if you have spent all day travelling.
During your stay if you should wish to practice your culinary skills, we have a barbeque and outside eating areas and will supply crockery, cutlery and glasses, also a preparation area in the main kitchen is at your disposal.
Breakfast is served in the dining room and includes freshly baked croissants, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit and preserves, with as much coffee, tea and juice as required. A full English breakfast is available with a supplement of 4 euros.
Tea and coffee making facilities are also in your room and to enable you to make the most of your stay with us we have provided a brochure with detailed information of all the nearby amenities and activities.

Guest access
A reading room is available for those quiet moments and a playroom with board games for children.
Should you need to wash, dry or iron during your stay, we have a fully equipped utility room at a nominal charge.
A secure parking area at the side of the farmhouse and wi-fi is also free of charge

Stephen and I bought the farmhouse in 1997 and have lived here permanently since 2002. We met in 1969 and have been together since, we are originally from the North of England. While living in England we had three businesses, all in the service trade, having the Bed & Breakfast and gite business here is continuing along the same line. Stephen loves his Golf, fortunately Vire golf course is less than 10 minutes away, he also follows MCFC, but he now has to make do with watching them on television, if it's a nice day he's usually gardening, another of his likes. I like reading, watching documentaries and swimming. We have a large circle of friends nearby and both enjoy socialising.
