It was my business trip to Tucson for 4 nights. This is my first use of Airbnb at Tucson. I first picked this house because the room has 2 beds which is hard to find in Airbnb. I originally planned to stay here with my friend but my friend canceled his trip at last minutes. I was alone and a bit nervous and feeling like I should stay in a hotel instead of someone's home. Oh boy, I was wrong! The host, Juan, was so hospitable, very kind, and knowledgeable about many things and he made me so comfortable for my entire stay. His house was very clean, high-tech, and super comfy; really made me feel at home. He was so generous offering me to use kitchen, office, and living room during my entire stay and I really felt like it was my friend's house I was staying. I didn't feel alone or nervous at all. His house was close to downtown, easy access to city buses if you want to save money. I didn't rent a car but I had no problem going places thanks to Juan, public transportation, and the uber. My stay was in the middle of Super Bowl. I wanted to watch it and he invited me to his cozy small Super Bowl Party! It was fun and I didn't have to watch it in a duty, dim, and lonely hotel room where I would have done if I had not stayed at Juan's house. I got to enjoy great home cooking tasty food, drinks, and fun conversation with nice people.
I highly recommend any traveler/s who are looking to stay in a very comfortable home instead of dirty & boring motels or inns. I assure you that you will feel welcomed and will feel like you've found a new friend in another town. I really had great experiences this time. It's mainly because of my accommodation choice. I've been to Tucson more than a dozen of times but It was definitely one of my best trips ever! Thank you!!! If his house is available again around my next business trip, I will ask to stay there again in a heartbeat!
