Trelander House is the perfect property for dual family/friends holidays as it is great for people to enjoy time together & space to relax apart. The ever popular playroom keeps the kids entertained whilst the adults relax in the lounge with french doors out to the patio/garden. There is a large, fully equiped kitchen with an American fridge. Upstairs, 2 king bedrooms both en-suite which offer fantastic rural & sea views. Also, 2 twin rooms & large family bathroom with separate bath and shower.

The space

The entrance to this contemporary family home greets you with a resounding sense of space and light. The open staircase leads to a gallery-style balcony, flooded by light from a window which stretches virtually the full height of the property and at night is lit by a stunning chandelier. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms both of which are en-suite, and offer fantastic views.

The master bedroom has a balcony looking out towards St Michael’s Mount whilst the second bedroom offers a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. With two more twin bedrooms this property sleeps eight making it ideal for an extended or dual family holiday. There is, of course, an additional family bathroom, with shower, separate bath, basin and WC.

Downstairs discover a spacious living room with French doors opening onto the well-maintained patio and attractively planted garden area. On the opposite side of the hall is a second, large, living room/play area with French doors to a low level balcony. Towards the rear of the property is an enormous open plan kitchen and dining area fitted to an exceptionally high standard, featuring an integrated dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas oven/hob and microwave. The subtle “country” style units are covered with a solid oak worktop which, alongside the modern décor gives this home a quietly rural feel. The kitchen/dining area also has French doors onto the patio and garden, creating the perfect environment for a warm summer evening barbeque at the end of a beautiful day at the beach. Next to the kitchen is a well-equipped utility room with washing machine and spacious airing cupboard, and beyond that is a downstairs WC with wash basin.

This gated property has secure parking for three vehicles and is safe and enclosed for children. It offers a marvellous garden play area with a 12’ trampoline and a wide variety of swings and slides. Trelander House is just a short walk from the child-friendly Coldstreamer pub which sits within the heart of Gulval Churchtown.

A large very well equipped property in a good location. We were a 3 generation family of 7 and the space was more than adequate. The children's playroom is huge and fantastically equipped with literally hundreds of toys for all ages

We absolutely loved this house! The house is open, spacious and had lots of room for our party of 8. The lounge was comfortable with enough seating for all and the fully stocked playroom and huge range of DVD s was a real hit. The beds and bedrooms were well appointed and comfy- plenty of hangers and hanging space for clothes. The bathrooms were amazing and the rain shower was popular with the kids. The kitchen is a great family space with two ovens, a fab fridge freezer and plenty of cupboard space. There is also a very handy utility area with washing machine and large airing cupboard. The outside tap by the back door was also really useful for getting beach stuff and wetsuits clean. The parking and turning for cars is a bit tight but this is Cornwall so it's to be expected! We managed ok with 3 cars there. There are views across the tops of Gulval to Mounts Bay and St Michaels Mount. The location of the house made it really easy to get out and about. It's 5 mins drive to Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons. Lands End, St Ives and Sennen cove are just 20 mins away. If you are staying here do make sure you visit Geevor Tin Mine- we had a brilliant day out there. After reading a previous review about the property (after we had already booked) I was a a bit nervous but I got in touch with the owner who reassured me and even made a few minor amendments for our stay. Our host was responsive and helpful for the entire week of our stay and we couldn't have asked for more. We would definitely stay in this property again.

Jess's place was a great house for our party of 4 teenagers, 2 grandparents and me (mum of 3 of the teens). So much space for everyone, the kitchen is super well equipped and the garden was lovely. All very comfortable, we can highly recommend the house for a break. Close to lots of sights, beaches and amenities.

Although it's a big house, it's not a luxury stay. It's quite uncomfortable and is not in the best position. It does not have parking for 3 cars, it's swuashed inbetween flats and houses, and is a squeeze, needing to reverse 1/4 mile onto busy road to get car out. Mattresses etc are very uncomfortable and there's not privacy in any of the bathrooms. We loved the playroom, and large kitchen but feel a bit duped by location, price and photos.
