Newly furnished 2 bed 2 bath apartment at Nelly Bay, Magnetic Island. This apartment is perfect for families or 2 couples . This apartment, 1407, located at Bright Point is 100m from the ferry terminal and bus stop making it so easy to get on and off the ferry without transport. Secure undercover car parking available.

A travel cot OR air mattress for 1 additional child only is available on request at an additional charge

The space
This apartment has all the mod-cons, newly furnished with additional extras:- full size fridge and fully equiped kitchen, coffee pod espresso machine, kids beach toys and pool toys, washer, dryer, fully air-conditioned, TV with DVD player and kids DVDs, close proximity to pool and BBQ facilities with ocean and mountain views from the spacious balcony on the 4th floor.
Room configuration is 1 x Queen in Master Suite with ensuite and either 2 x single or 1 x King (please specify if this is your preference as beds are otherwise made up as 2 x singles) We also have a port-a-cot available on request, allowing for up to 2 adults, 2 children and 1 infant. Alternatively, we have access to an air mattress which is an option for an older 3rd child.

Bright Point is an apartment complex located at Nelly Bay. Your apartment is a private apartment, NOT a shared space. The complex has many shared spaces however, including 4 pools, BBQ areas & a gym.

Other things to note
Passenger ferry or vehicle barge is the only public access to the island. The apartment is within easy walking distance from ferry terminal, approx 100 meters to the front gate and another 50 metres to the apartment. Lift takes you to the 4th floor.
Check in/out times - we are more than happy to allow free early check in and late check out (charges may apply) to accommodate your needs only where possible and available.
You will need a sensor pass or 'fob' to get into the complex. This is the white card. If walking, you can enter via the gate on the right then turn into the first carpark on the left and the lift is toward the back. Follow the signs and turn into 'Osprey Car Park'. OR next to reception there is an alcove and door which takes you under cover through the carpark to that lift located at the far end of the carpark to the rear. All of these areas you need a Fob to get into the complex.
If you are driving there is a swipe pad as you approach the gate on the right hand side. The gate opens away from you as you enter. Turn into the first carpark on the left 'Osprey Car Park' and park anywhere - the designated car space is 1407 however people generally don’t pay attention and park anywhere.

The Apartment is located on the 4th floor - 1407 - use the bronze key to enter.
The closest pool is up on level 5 a short walk up the stairs (or lift) and the gym is also in this area which can be accessed via the gate swipe card. There are other pools located around the complex also.

*** PLEASE NOTE that the apartment door will lock behind you automatically when it is closed so always take the key with you when closing the door. If you lock the key inside you may be charged a $150 call out fee for someone with a key to travel to the island to unlock the door. There are 2 co hosts who live on the island who hold keys however we cannot guarantee they will always be available. If a set of keys are lost the cost of replacement WILL be $220 for the key and fob per set. Usually we can give guests 2 sets of keys if more that 1 couple is staying.

Quite and friendly Magnetic island is a host to families, backpackers, couples alike seeking a tropical island getaway. The locals are friendly and the island has a lot to offer with amazing scenery. If you are lucky you may see a koala in the wild on one of the many amazing walking trails. Also keep an eye out for whales and turtles during your stay. We especially love hiking and cycling and visiting the many bays on the island you can only get to by foot. We love to stay active while indulging occasionally in good food and wine and coffee.
