Gorgeous traditionally built Mongolian yurt. A truly stunning and utterly unique location for your holiday.

Moonlight Yurt was built by traditional craftsmen in Mongolia. Situated in its own river meadow in the Black Mountains Brecon Beacons National Park. Glorious views and easily accessible hill walking from the front door. We are very fortunate in the Llanthony Valley to have been designated as a dark sky reserve which means breathtaking night skies.

The space
Situated beside a small mountain river (perfect for an invigorating wild dip) in the spectacular Llanthony Valley. The jewel in the crown of the beautiful wild Black Mountains. Get back to nature in comfort. There is a wood burner inside the yurt. Sleeps up to 2 adults in a deliciously comfortable double bed and up to 2 children on futon beds. Well behaved dogs welcome (up to 2). A charge of £10 to bring your dog is payable on arrival. This lovely yurt is a wonderfully calming place to stay.

Wood Burning Hot Tub is close by and with a lovely view of the surrounding mountains.

Fantastic walking straight from the door. A truly romantic and special place.

Other things to note
3 baskets of wood included with rental. Further baskets available at £5 per basket for the fabulous firepit if needed (please bring cash for honesty system). You are welcome to gather dry fallen wood as well. To make the most of your stay we recommend you bring a torch, walking boots, wellies, suitable outdoor clothing and a change of shoes to wear inside the yurt. Bring firelighters. Unfortunately we cannot provide you with towels, please bring your own. Sleeps 2 adults in comfortable double bed and up to 2 children on futon beds. Well behaved dogs welcome (up to 2) a charge of £10 per dog is payable on arrival. Separate compost loo.
