My family stayed at John's apartment for 2 weeks and had a great stay. The location was good for us, you are steps away from Belgravia Court. There are not a lot of restaurants or stores in the direct area, you will need to drive. Parking was freely available, but John did mention that recently break ins have happened and to remove all belongings out of our car. The apartment was as described, definitely from the 1900's, beautiful high ceilings and plenty of space for 4 guests. The kitchen is small, but functional, we did have to buy some utensils, because there were very limited available. If you there in summer or hot days, there is air, but it is not central, so some rooms will be cool and others not. The air units are also very noisy, as well as the neighbors, we didn't mind the white noise at night. We will definitely consider returning to Louisville, but with a family we might choose for the East side of Louisville. John was quick and responsive in all his communications.

This was our first Airbnb stay and we couldn't have asked for a better host than John. We first contacted him about another of his listings, which was not available, and he suggested this one. We shall definitely use Airbnb again and definitely would stay with John again. Our apartment in Belgravia mansion was roomy, light, fresh, clean, comfortable beds with snowy sheets. Beautiful neighborhood - especially enjoyed the 3:00 pm Conrad-Caldwell House tour only a couple of blocks away and strolling to Amici for happy hour and dinner afterward. John was prompt and accommodating in all his communications. His associate met us with the keys showed us around, answered our questions about the house and Louisville and let us know we could call him if there were problems. After that we had absolute privacy, and we liked that.
