Interaction with guests
Anne lives in town, 15 minutes away, and will respond quickly to text, email, or cell-phone calls. There is a comprehensive guest information book on the coffee table in the living room. The property owners live a few blocks away in the Historic West End district and one is a very successful Realtor (top producer of 2015!).
The desirable West End neighborhood of Winston-Salem is adjacent to downtown. It is both historic and diverse, with quick access to all that our downtown offers. Our house is located on a leafy street in a quiet residential neighborhood.
Park at the top of the driveway or on the street. Walk to at least a dozen restaurants. For nighttime festivities, it's a quick Uber ride to all the hot spots, and several cab companies operate in Winston-Salem. During good weather, you may see the horse-drawn carriage that operates downtown!
Other things to note
Guests can park one car off-street, at the top of the driveway. There is usually plenty of street parking out front. We'll leave the porch lights on for you, and we can arrange access when your reservation is confirmed.

I'm a creative, a reader, movie lover, interior designer. Stories are the most important thing to me, which I try to incorporate into my home designs. I have a son in the Army and a daughter in New York. I have dreams of one day traveling to Europe with my kids, but for now, am finding adventure at home.
I'm a very hands-off host (you probably won't see me) but you'll feel the warm welcome that I extend to each guest. For any questions you may have, I'm available by phone or email!
