Other things to note
Although Sligachan in on the main road that runs through Skye, it is relatively remote in terms of amenities. We suggest picking up groceries in either Broadford (12 miles South) or Portree (9 miles North) where there are supermarkets. The Sligachan Hotel is located a 5 minute walk or a 1 minute drive from the Lodge. They offer meals from breakfast through to dinner (from 7.30am-9pm) for non hotel residents. There is a choice of the Hotel's restaurant for an ambient meal or the infamous Seumas' Bar which is renowned for it's impressive collection of 400+ whiskies.
