A clean, comfortable, and conveniently located kickoff point for your Super Bowl week activities.
KICKOFF: Arriving by plane? Caltrain (via BART) will bring you to Mountain View from San Francisco International Airport, and VTA light rail provides an easy connection from San Jose International Airport. They both arrive at the Mountain View Transit Center, which is a short 10 minute walk from the house. There's no need to rent a car when you're staying here! But if you do have a car, free parking can be provided in the guest parking lot or on the street, both of which require a permit (provided).
THE GOAL LINE: With the transit center so close, you will already be within field goal range of Super Bowl 50 itself. VTA light rail will provide the easiest and most direct connection to Levi's Stadium, with express trains leaving the transit center every 10 minutes and arriving within steps of the stadium gates. No other transit will get you this close. Fans staying in neighboring cities to the north all the way to San Francisco will be traveling to Mountain View to take VTA, and you'll have a head start on all of them.
TOUCHDOWN: The room itself is on the ground floor of a newly built townhouse, and has its own private bathroom with shower and bathtub. While you're here, enjoy fast wifi, in-room TV connected to Roku (w/ Netflix, HBO Go, ESPN apps) The room can sleep one person in the single bed, or 2 people with a separate floor mattress (provided).
HALFTIME: There's plenty to do in the area when you're not at the game itself. Downtown Mountain View is a short walk away, with many restaurants, coffee houses, bars, and retail shops. Free community shuttles bring you to additional shopping centers, the local movie theater, and a certain famous tech company campus. Caltrain will bring you to San Francisco, where you can visit Super Bowl City and enjoy other Super Bowl-related events.
FINAL SCORE: Return home like a champ!
Interaction with guests
I work during the weekdays, and will be attending some Super Bowl related events in the evenings and weekends, including working at the game itself. I'll try to give you my schedule ahead of time. When I'm around you can ask me anything, or feel free to call me if you need assistance or advice. As a backup, a couple family members live nearby and are available to assist you as well.
Other things to note
Because we are so close to the train station, you will hear trains go by periodically. They run most frequently during commute hours, but are limited to one per hour in each direction during other times. The last train would go by sometime around 1:30am.
Please remove shoes before walking on carpet. Smoking and bringing pets are not allowed, and will result in a 10 yard penalty
