Guestroom #2 is a private room on the second floor with large private bath and only steps away from the best restaurants, shopping, bars & entertainment in the city. Private parking in our attached garage. Keyless entry allows you to come and go as you please - any hour of the day or night - make yourself at home!

The space
This is Guestroom #2 in our 2,100 square foot, Italianate home in the heart of the Over-the-Rhine Historic District - Cincinnati's hottest neighborhood! Originally built in 1842, and entirely renovated in 2015. Guestroom #2 is a private room on the second floor for 1 or 2 guests with a queen bed, 40-inch TV, and a large private bathroom steps from the room. You are invited to share the spacious, modern kitchen, and relax on the back patio, or the 900 square-foot deck. No pets, please.

For groups of 3-to-4 people, you should also book Guestroom #1, which also has a queen bed, a 55" TV, and it's own private bathroom. Here's the link for the other room:

You are welcome to enjoy the living room with a grand piano, the dining room, kitchen, and outdoor gas grill. The large enclosed patio off the kitchen leads to a charming, gated alley and there is a huge 800-square foot rooftop deck.

Our house is perfect for families, students, single travelers, LGBTs, small groups, business people - all people welcome! We're on a tree-lined street, and provide a relaxed, neighborhood feel steps away from restaurants, bars, craft breweries, coffee shops, theaters, and a short walk to Cincinnati's riverfront.

Over-the-Rhine (OTR) is the largest contiguous historic district in the United States, and it is a lively neighborhood with tremendous dining and entertainment within a 3-block radius of our doorstep. We are half a block from Washington Park, which features an amazing variety of free concerts, festivals, and public events, especially in the warmer months. We are steps from Vine Street's most popular bars and restaurants. We are a block from historic Music Hall, home to the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Pops, and Cincinnati Ballet. There are three excellent theater companies within two blocks: Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Ensemble Theatre, and Know Theatre. It's just a 5-minute walk to Findlay Market, and a 12-minute walk to the Aronoff Center or Horseshoe Casino. A 20-minute walk will get you to US Bank Arena, Great American Ballpark (Reds), or Paul Brown Stadium (Bengals). University of Cincinnati is 1.5 miles up the hill to Clifton, Children's Hospital is 2.8 miles away, and Xavier University is a 12-minute drive.

I'm an empty-nester, along with my wife, Mindy. We love to use Airbnb to visit our twenty-somethings daughter and son, as they make their way about the world! We hope to be as accommodating as the folks who have hosted us. It's a lovely townhouse with two private rooms that we are glad to share. We thoroughly enjoy the dining, theater, music, dance, art museums, sports, and historic architecture of the Queen City, and especially Over-the-Rhine. During your stay

Make yourself at home. Your room and bathroom are 100% private, and and most of the house is public space. We truly think of this house as having three guest rooms, one of which we use, and the other two are for Airbnb guests. You have full access to the kitchen, dining room, and living room. In the morning please help yourself to coffee, tea, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, and such. We love Cincinnati, and we're always happy to offer our insight, or if you want privacy, we respect that. Eric and Mindy both work just a few blocks away if you need help.
