Carol is exactly the type of host you are looking for in Blenheim. She made us feel extremely welcome in her lovely home, giving us a tour of the house and her amazing home-grown veggie garden. She picked us up from the city centre as we were quite lost and gave us great local insider advice regarding things to do and hikes in the surrounding landscape. Food provides was incredible, she is a great cook! Her and her husband Jeff were so accommodating and helped us with our future travels. Our experience would have been otherwise average without meeting her. Go carol!

Such a lovely place to stay. Carol welcomed us with such genuine warmth and hospitality I felt at home very soon after arriving. Carol went out of her way to ensure my stay was pleasant and gave me all the information I needed to ensure my stay was relaxing and comfortable. The bed was warm and very comfortable, with plenty of spare bedding. Spare Pillows to choose from was a plus. The whole place is comfortable and clean and tidy as described. The lounge is a lovely communal space. Breakfast was self catering and yummy. The jams and preserved fruit are organically grown on the property. The eggs are free range -such a lovely treat. I particularly liked Carol and Geoff’s eco friendly approach. They try as much as possible to live environmentally sensitively. I.e compost bins and recycling and environmentally friendly laundry liquid and dishwasher, quite inspiring. The bicycles, which were provided free was a great way to explore the scenic neighbourhood this too was a bonus. We will certainly come this way again.

Really lovely host! Very friendly and thoughtful. When we arrived it was raining and Carol met us with an umbrella, which was really above and beyond! It was nice to have access to our own little kitchen and common area. Delicious feijoas and grapes (and everything else really). Their dog was also sweet and seemed quite mild mannered for a puppy. :) Would stay here again.

Carol was very welcoming and a great host. Her garden is beautiful and the surroundings are great for a bike ride or a walk in the wither hills. The two bikes are a great opportunity to ride into town or to the vineyards around. We would always come back.

Great place to stay. The downstairs of the house felt like it's own private apartment with bath, small kitchen and lounge. Lovely garden in the backyard with fruit trees and an adorable black lab Both Carol and Geoff were very friendly and generous hosts. Highly recommended.

Carol and Geoff are a nice and engaging couple who were nice hosts. They provided a great breakfast. Sadly we didn't get a good nights sleep as the bed is too short and the mattress is old and worn so much so that the springs give no support. The worst aspect was the shower that provided very little water such that we didn't get to have a shower, which is an essential requirement. No other guests were staying so we didn't have to share the facilities which was a relief. The price was not excessive but we would expect better value from even the most basic aribnb listing.

Sixty something married to Geoff. Love my family and friends. I enjoy meeting new people and am hospitable by nature.
I love to cook and preserve the bounty of nature and of our organic garden. We are an environmentally responsible household, a value I hold dearly. I enjoy walking in the Wither hills behind the house and do so regularly. I do yoga and Qi Gong for relaxation.
Currently working on becoming a gym bunny.
Come enjoy our hospitality.
