We arrived in the village and were helpfully directed to the house by the signs on the road. Upon reaching the house, Ahmed was very welcoming. He gave us a choice of rooms, showed us around and helped with directions to nearby points of interest. The room was clean, large, comfo…

The house is great for a short stay and the host, Juli, was super helpful in getting us settled. However, the only thing that dampened our stay was the less than optimal bathroom conditions and the area the accommodation was situated in. All in all, this is a wonderful bed and br…

Had a very nice stay at Juli's. Abu was around to answer our questions about the area and prepared breakfast in the morning (hard boiled eggs, bread, fruit, coffee and tea). The room was clean and as pictured -- we moved over to a room with hot water. For those that are potty sh…

The host was waiting for us at the entrance and was very welcoming - Initially he proposed a shared room with two beds while we has ooked two but the matter was swiftly resolved - Apart from the wifi issue and an invader of our toilets overall experience was ok

Response from Juli:
Barbara, I am sorry you had that experience with another guest using your toilet; that was a simple mistake. When the workers cleaned your bathroom before your arrival they must have forgotten to secure the door to your bathroom from the hall. (That bathroom has 2 doors, one from inside the bedroom.) And that poor other guest... with the trots..not pleasant for anyone, but he did not know that was your private bath. Ahmed was astonished to hear that you were upset with the men in the sitting room because he thought everyone was enjoying watching the Cup match together. The downstairs room, and that one only, is adjacent to a common area where pother guests are allowed to gather to use the television or the library. I am sure football fans get noisy. To other guests, please see among the photos on the website a floor map of the main house that shows the layout and which rooms have more audio privacy.

Nice guesthouse. Walk back from beach when it's dark did not feel safe for a couple of girls walking alone. Possible to get a taxi. Friendly host. Nice breakfast included.

I am a retired professor and half owner of Magharibi House. I have run it as a bed and breakfast since 2006 but only recently listed it on airbnb. The other co-owner is the onsite manager, Ahmed. He speaks English very well and is adept at caring for guests. His spelling is…
