Apartment was located within walking distance to Simon's Town and a small beach. If you are a diver, it was very convenient to a great dive shop. View was incredible. Sunrises and sunsets were spectacular (the weather was very cooperative for us). Kitchen was adequately stocked for basic cooking. The unit was advertised as having TV, but due to policy changes with the provider TV was no longer offered. The owner stated she would update the listing so it will be accurate. While there was enough electricity in the meter, there was a note in the apartment information sheet that stated that electricity may need to be purchased while staying at the apartment. For someone not familiar with the system in South Africa this could prove to be an unwelcome burden or at the very least a task that no one wants to learn/spend their time doing while on holiday. The note should be removed and reasonable electricity provided so the guest does not need to worry about this given normal usage patterns. Finally, we arrived later than planned, but Lorraine waited for us and still kindly showed us around the apartment.
