Guests love my space because it's quiet, close to attractions, tastefully decorated, and has it's own separate entrance. The guest room & en suite are very private, cooled by fans, and appointed with many extras that you won't find in a hotel room.
This charming bedroom and bath, located in a newly renovated plantation home, is tucked away in a quiet corner of town. My house is centrally located, yet surprisingly quiet. There is ample private parking, bus stops around the corner, and the area is easily bikeable. Restaurants and shops are within a 10-15 minute walk, and the beach is within a 5 minute drive, or 12 minute bike ride. If you like to be within arms reach of the action, but away from the hustle and bustle, then this is a perfect location for you!
Enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee or tea on your private patio, which is lit up at night by solar l.e.d. lights - very romantic. Your quaint bedroom has it's own private keyed entrance with small lanai (porch), and private en suite bathroom with sunken marble shower. It is tastefully furnished with a queen bed, dresser, luggage rack, hardwood floors, ceiling fan and closet. Amenities include a mini-refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer and WiFi.
*Please be aware that the rental does not include access to the kitchen and rest of the house.
**Check in time is after 3pm to allow time for a deep clean of the room in between guests. However, if there is no other guest checking in or out the same day, I will do my best to accommodate an earlier check-in or later check-out. Thank you!
Guests have a separate private entrance to their accommodations. The room is attached to the main house, but separated by a locked door. Guests do not have access to the kitchen or any other part of the main house. There is a complimentary parking space that guests are welcome to use. Please be aware that compact or small-sized cars fit best in the parking spot.

I live in the home, along with my husband, Luke. We both have full time jobs, so we are out of the house frequently. That being said, I do my very best to personally greet each guest and make myself available for questions, etc. In the rare case that Luke and I are away from home, or get stuck at work, we will make other arrangements for check-in and make sure that there is someone reliable, who guests can contact if they have questions or concerns.
- Please no smoking, drugs, pets, or unregistered visitors.
- My neighbors are courteous and friendly, please return the favor. Quiet hours are between 10:00pm and 7:00am.
- Please be respectful of property boundaries. There is a small, white bistro table and chairs directly outside the guest room that guests are welcome to use at anytime. However the stream is NOT accessible to guests, as it backs on to private property that belongs to our neighbors.

I am originally from Canada, but now live in Honolulu, Hawaii. I love to travel, and it was on one of my many adventures that I realized it was time for me to trade in my boots and tuque (Canadian for "beanie") for sunglasses and slippers (Hawaiian for flip flops). Oddly enough, I don't make it to the beach nearly as much as I should, but I do most of my traveling by bike or foot, which ensures that I get my daily dose of Hawaiian sunshine. I am an artist, a recreational gardener and cook, and a home owner. As a host, I take great pride in providing a clean, comfortable, and stylish space for my guests to enjoy. As a house guest, I consciously treat my accommodations with as much care as I would my own home.
