Karen’s place is spacious and comfortable: it has nice views of rolling hills breakfast is great, and she could not have made us more welcome. Havelock North is a good base for visiting the Hawkes bay area and the town centre (about 10 minutes’ walk) has a surprisingly wide range of good restaurants. Karen herself was interesting to talk with, she was happy to offer real insight into the area, and we highly appreciated the loan of her bikes to tour local vineyards. We hope to be back in future years

Wonderful host - great communication. A lovely BIG room - all to ourselves, a self-contained unit really (more than just a bedroom). Includes a lounge space, own bathroom, and own kitchen/laundry (without a full oven). Very good value for the room and privacy provided. Warm and sunny.

Beautiful outlook from the B&B - felt like we were world's away from everything, even though it's in a residential neighbourhood. Huge room - bedroom/lounge combined - plus a good bathroom and small kitchen. Delicious continental breakfast both mornings. Very comfortable, and Karen is a lovely, friendly host (but still respected our privacy.) Thoroughly recommend for couples travelling to Hawke's Bay.

Karen provided us with a warm welcome, great conversation and a beautiful, fresh breakfast! Her suite is very spacious, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to utilize a kitchen and were provided with a wide variety of kitchen and bathroom supplies for our use. The view at Karen's is spectacular and she is within walking distance to local amenities. Our experience at Karen's was a 10+!

We had a lovely stay at Karen's home. The room is spacious and private with a separate entrance. The location was convenient to Napier about 25 minutes drive and havelock north about 10 minutes walking. Bc we stayed 2 nights Karen allowed us free use of the bikes to ride to the local wineries. It was only about 20 minutes to 3 different wineries, so the location is prime if you're coming for wine. Karen was very hospitable! She was flexible with our check-in and provided helpful tips on what to do in the area. She even provided us a yummy breakfast. a wonderful stay, highly recommend !
