In a country contest, in front a not crowed beach, but very close to the main historic sites, with wonderful paths into a natural oasi

The space

House at the sea, with in front a beautiful golden sandy beach. The place is among the best of the Cavallino coastline because it is far from large hotels and traffic. Bus passes 100 metres and easily reach Venice with the public boat. It is ideally located for day trips in the Venice lagoon and visit the beautiful islands of Torcello, Burano, but also the Lido and Pellestrina. Each room is equipped with bathroom and there are kitchens available. A large garden is bordered by the fields planted with vegetables, which are very famous for their quality. It's a holiday families who don't just want to relax but also of nature and culture.Nice tours by bike along the lagoon paths. A patio with an open space kitchen near the garden with barbeque for free. A special location in summertime. Usually on May it is already warm to spend time on the beach until the end of september.
Small groups can in a typical Venetian boat by the lagoon of Venice and to the surrounding islands such as Burano, Torcello and San Francesco be hazards. This is an unforgettable experience. There is also a bike ride along the narrow and sunny Lido and Pellestrina Islands with a stop at the natural beaches and Cà Roman, in front of the fisherman's village of Chioggia. To get to Venice is very easy, with a 30' minutes public boat you have a nice short faboulous cruise to San Marco, the hearth of Venice

Very rural location that is not very convenient for Venice, but Venice is a special problem as far as access is concerned. This is an excellent location to combine Venice visits with beach and rural activities.

Maurizio's place at Travallino is decent and clean. Nanny Bruna is helpful, even though she speak Italian only. We're arrive very late at night, but they managed to provide soolution to this. The place is close to the beach. Would recommend this cozy rural place for those who need to escape from busy daily life in their cities.

The place is absolutely perfect if you have a bit of time to spend in the area and are looking for a nice relaxing vacation. It takes a lot of time and effort to get back and forth between here and Venice, so if seeing the city is your top priority, try to find something closer. But the beach nearby is lovely, the house is very nice and clean, and Jesolo, the resort town down the road, is fun. We enjoyed our time at the house and had everything we needed.

Overall enjoyed our stay. Good location just 500m from the sandy beach, with a wine shop (sells by the litre from big vats) just 80m down the road and easy access to Venice from Punta Sabbioni only about 5km away. Had exclusuve use of fridge and oven in outside (with roof!!) kitchen/lounge area. Once we found it (instructions could be better!), owner did not speak English but gestures and giving her copy of booking confirmation printout sorted things out! Our room had en suite shower, kids bedroom had shared bathroom with room opposite. No aircon but rooms nice and cool even late July with high ceilings. Mosquitos a pain around the area so bring some repellent. Had to drive a many km to McDonalds in Jesoloto get wi'fi (also Burger King and a cafe close to MacDonalds do it) but there was pay wi'fi at Punta Sabbioni. ~5km away Basic but reasonably good value - would stay again.

landlady didnt have my booking even if i had booked and confirmed and paid weeks in advance, then she tried to justify herself saying there has been some sort of misunderstanding with someone else running another b&b in mestre, on the mainland, a place i havent even heard of and i certainly havent booked or contacted. After a long and exhausting day-s driving to try and find the place, we managed to find it, but it wasnt on the main road, and the only way to find it was to ask somebody who lives there. by the way nobody speaks english, and if your italian is not fluent you might end up in trouble asking for directions, unless you speak german, which is widespread spoken by locals in the area. the place itself is reasonably clean and peaceful, only 5 min to a lovely beach with restaurants. as many people said before me its the ideal lace if you want the peace of the countryside and the beach, with venice on the side, which is accessible through a long, expensive, and exhausting journey by car and by boat. dont go there if you want to visit venice.

I would like to start off by saying that our hosts were very nice. The issue I have is the misinterpretation of the location and the convenience factor of getting to and from Venice. When you get off the train and arrive into Venice you are tasked with getting to the island. This isn't a tough task but rather a pricey/timely one. The trip requires you to take two ferries (6.50 euros x 2 = 13.00 (1 hour)). After you arrive on the island you are then required to take a local bus from the station to the house(1.80 euros (10 minutes not including waiting for the bus)). You can imagine how this could add up if you plan on visiting Venice more than once. When you arrive the house is a very nice farm house and the beach (Which is located about a 15 minute walk from the house) is very expansive. I won't get into trying to get back after 11pm. All that being said if you plan on visiting Venice and would like have access with ease then this is not the place for you. If you want some quiet time on a beach and have time to visit Venice on the side this is for you.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is fantastic. It’s centered in the fields and away from traffic and crowds. It’s very close to the beach - just 5 min walk - and ideally located to start day trips to Venice. You can get to the port by public transportation. The bus station is just 2 min walk. Markets cafes and restaurants are 15 - 20 mins to walk. The only negative point is the mosquitoes. It’s almost impossible to sit outside in the evening. But even for this problem the host Ms Bruna has a solution. She is a very nice, friendly and caring lady. We would definitely choose to stay here again.
