The space

The house has a large garden with BBQ equipment and car parking for up to 3 cars. Inside there is a large living room, shower, dinning room and kitchen looking out and accessing the garden. Upstairs there is 3 large bedrooms and a large family bathroom. (URL HIDDEN) has lots more info and photos.

Guest access

The house is situated on its own private drive and can park up to 3 cars. At the bottom of the drive is a bus stop which provides a service ever half an hour into Nantwich and Crewe where you can get on a train or a bus to most larger towns and cities in the area.

Interaction with guests

Miranda is a fantastic host and very willing to help and advise people about things to do during their stay. The farm shop just approximately 100m is also a great facility to gain information and enjoy home cooked food in the coffee shop or choose meals to eat at Glenbrae. Miranda always provides guests with a homemade cake and wine as a welcome.

The neighbourhood

Glenbrae has open country views yet it has great transport networks at its doorstep perfect for sight seeing. The historic market town of Nantwich has a great diary of events inc a jazz festival, international cheeses show and a food festival. The town is home to lots of independent boutique shops, places to eat out, pretty historic buildings and a lively nightlife.

Getting around

There are cycle paths and footpaths at the end of the drive and a bus stop which runs every 30 mins from Crewe to Nantwich. Crewe and Nantwich have connection bus services to Chester, Stoke and other larger towns and cities in the area and are also home to train stations which can get you further afield.

Guests are expected to treat the house with respect. Glenbrae is commonly referred to as a home from home holiday which is frequently redecorated to ensure a high standard of accommodation. There is a no smoking policy and we do ask people to leave the house as they found it.
