Sue and Phil were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. They were extremely generous with their knowledge of the local area and gave us many tips about what to do, where to eat etc. The room is lovely and really spacious, with a great and clean bathroom, and opens out onto a veranda from which you can watch loads of birds. And the breakfasts were amazing too!

Hello all, We stayed in at Phils place for two nights. It was lovely and very friendly. Its located about 20 min walk outside the village which we liked as we walked in and out of the village. Phil offered to collect us from the village if we wanted. The breakfast was excellent, home cooking at its best. We realy loved Wilderness and would visit again. We would also stay at the kingfisher lodge again. Enjoy! Shay.

I love people and our guesthouse has been operating for 20 years. Guests have said that Phil and I are very friendly, helpful and love to interact with our guests. We enjoy helping our guests to relaxenjoy having a really memorable holiday by supplying them with multiple choices for activities in our area and in surrounding towns. We love travelling all over and exploring South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland beyond. I love gardening, bird watching, visiting game parks e.g Addo and Kruger National Park, Mapungubwe and in fact all game parks, We both love animals and have a golden retriever called "Tessa", a cat called "Misty". We both love canoeing, going on picnics in our incredibly beautiful area, beautiful scenery, camping in out of the way places and travelling off-road, love life and our family is very important to us. WE would love to meet you !!
