STUNNING! The views, the island... just perfect! The apartment was great and was met by a friendly gentleman to welcome us. The shower took a bit of adjusting to get the temperature right but the bed was comfy and the kitchen was handy, but being able to sit on the balcony in the mornings with the breathtaking views was out of this world. Shops, restaurants, bakery, beach and port all so close, Perfect. Thank you.

Very clean nice apartment. Pero was right at the ferry dock to greet us and provided everything we needed. Great terrace with a view of the bay. Be sure to rent a car and drive to the other side of the island and back and stop at the beaches. The drive has wonderful views.

it was amazing to stay in that flat, the location is wonderful, watching from the bed how the ships come in and out to from the harbour. the flat is nice and basic, more than enough to spend a couple of days in Mljet.

Wonderful apartment, clean, friendly family of hosts and an amazing view from the room. Do not use the AirBnB app to get directions to this place because it will send you to Govedari and not Polace. We were very lucky that happy-to-help villagers in Govedari set us on the right path when we got lost in their town. The family had offered to pick us up from the ferry but we didn't communicate our arrival time properly and had spotty wifi along the route to Mijlet, we wished we could have taken them up on their generous offer, but the 4km walk from the ferry terminal to Polace is really very beautiful if you are up for somewhat of an ascent. Overall super cozy little joint, loved our stay!

Lovely, spacious apartment with an amazing view. Unfortunately we only stayed on the island for one night but we wished we stayed longer. The apartment was perfect and just a short walk from the port, shops and the entrance to the national park which is stunning and something that you have to see. Would highly recommend staying here just for the view alone.

Had an amazing stay here mljet is truly the most beautiful place I've ever been. After visiting places near by this was by far the best and nicest place to stay. We got the catamaran from Port Gruz in Dubrovnik the tickets were about 80kuna which you buy on the morning, the boat leaves around 9am and took about 2hrs more or less. The apartment was only meters away from where you get off the boat. It was very clean when we arrived had everything we needed and the location was perfect the host was so friendly and helpful. To get up every morning open the the doors onto a generous sized terrace with a magnificent view. We were only steps away from the water if you wanted a morning dip. Little grocery shops, cafes and lovely restaurants by the water and at the end of the street is the way into the national park. There are plenty of places to rent bikes, my partner and I rented bikes in our village for four days for 600kuna and we cycled to the lakes which took us about 20 mins but this was mostly up hill(hard work!). However there is a little free bus that goes from the hut at the end of street where you get your national park ticket (only buy once and go as many times) then you can rent bikes from there and cycle round the lakes which is fairly easy going, or you can walk but it's a good few km maybe more, also if you have small children or you are elderly there is a little buggy train that goes round. On our cycle round the big lake we stopped for lunch in a tiny village called Soline very pretty so take money with you. Or you can detour to Pomena which is another port like Polace with bars, restaurants and cafes, looks a little more commercial, it's not as quaint or as relaxing. However there are a few more shops and you can go scuber diving from there. I highly recommend buying aqua shoes as the beaches here are pebble beaches and the waters are very rocky, I purchased some in Pomena and they made my experience much more enjoyable as I didn't have to worry about where I was standing. We also rented a scooter which was 120kuna for 24hrs and took a trip to Bambino Polje about 30 mins away and visited the odyssius cave then had lunch in the village at a restaurant recommended by the host called Triton very pretty location, very traditional the food was delicious. We were so sad to leave the apartment it became our home from home we loved it so much. The boat back to Dubrovnik from Polace didn't leave till 5pm so the host kindly gave us a lift to Pomena to catch the 11am boat. Very nice family couldn't give a higher recommendation.

I wish you a warm welcome in my hometown :)
Looking forward to answer all of your questions :D

I'm 25 years old, born and raised in Dubrovnik, definitely town that you'll remember. I'm running Dominium Travel agency in Dubrovnik together with my colleagues which you'll probably meet while staying here.

So far, I've been to London, Dublin, Paris, Istanbul, Rome, Venice, Trieste, Barcelona, Wien, Prague. There are few destinations on my bucket list that I still didn't crossed: Vietnam, Mexico, Cambodia, Singapore, Cuba...

I hope you'll enjoy your stay with us :)

If you decide to book , please let me know if you are arriving with a car , bus or from airport so that I can send you directions to the apartment in details, also it would be good, if you book the accommodation , that you send me your email address so that I could send you a map with marked location and coordinates .
