Guest access

Check in is very convenient, 24/7. You don't need a key to get in, I use digital lock. Please text me your phone number and name, I will send you the front door code and a video to show you how to use the digital lock. Very simple. :)

Other things to note

Here are a few things on the house rule that I want to share:

* When you check-In, you will be provided with ONE clean towel to use during your stay. This will be placed on your bed. We give a towel per guest and wash them every Wednesday.

* This is a co-living space and we aim to keep the place clean and desirable. I request all my guests to wash their own dishes and keep the kitchen clean.

*Also, there are cameras in the common areas to protect you belongings. There is one in the living room, one in the kitchen, and one facing outside to watch the cars. None in the bedrooms or bathrooms. Each house has 14-15 beds.

* Please make sure you lock the door when leave the apartment.

Thank you! Enjoy your stay !

I had a really nice time here! I stayed for 6 nights and everyone was really friendly. The house is clean, spacious and has a nice kitchen. The garden is also really nice! The host, Naya, is so helpful and welcoming! She threw a really nice get together for all the house mates whilst I was there, with really good food and drinks!

It was an awesome place in San Jose. Good people around, good beds, I think that if I return to San Jose, I'm going to stay here :D

First day of check in wasn't bad, check in was as expected but didn't really know what to do. In my room there were clothes and bags lying everywhere - pretty bad to the point that I couldn't even use the desk beside my bed. Also randomly at 2am in the middle of the night, a weird Russian dude began flashing a light in my face waking me up so that he can get access to a power outlet behind my bed. It was the most disrespectful thing I've ever seen and at first I thought he was trying to steal something. This also woke up the other 2-3 people in the room. There were so many people staying in this house that you literally had no idea who was actually paying to stay here. The doors were always unlocked, and sometimes even open, I did not feel safe leaving any valuables in the house unless I was there. Also the kitchen was a mess every single day. Nobody ever cleans their dishes. On top of this, I was only staying for 5 days and I went out to buy groceries, which were later stolen and eaten by people in the house - and nobody even said sorry or owned up to it. A few people in the house definitely seemed like drug addicts and I did not feel comfortable talking to them. Especially the creepy Russian dude who claimed to be the "House Manager". One morning, I saw the Russian guy asleep in the garage while sitting in a desk chair with the door open, it was freezing and he looked homeless. No offence to the people staying in the house, but it was literally like staying in a shitty frat house or residence. Personally, as a travelling business person, I would NEVER recommend this place to somebody who's travelling with valuables and is visiting San Jose for business purposes. There NEEDS to be lockers for guests to be able to lock up valuables, especially with the high turnover of guests, things can be stolen so easily.

The house was good, so was my stay. There are a lot of 20-30 yr old people who were very nice, respectful and welcoming, inviting me to join for a Saturday night out. Good to know it that most people are long-term guests.
