Our lovely home is available to rent from 7th June to 3rd August 2017. Longer lets are preferred.

The space

Our beautiful 2-floor apartment is often vacant as we travel frequently. While reflecting my love of mid-Century Danish furniture, the apartment contains all you might need in terms of mod cons. It is clean and spacious, with new fittings and plenty of closet space.

There is a king-size double bed in the bedroom as well as an Aerobed with organic cotton topper in the upstairs lounge.

Perfectly located close to the gorgeous Victoria Park Village, the apartment is in walking distance from Broadway Market and Colombia Road Flower Market. This area is filled with lovely coffee shops, independent fashion stores, the best food in London, and cosy pubs!

There are good transportation links, particularly from Mile End underground station which has direct trains to the centre and West side of town where many of the national museums and galleries are located.

Guest access

Ground floor with front door direct access.

Interaction with guests

You will have the apartment to yourself, once you have the keys and any information you might require.

This is a beautiful, peaceful home with everything you need. It's in a nice, quiet area close to shops and some lovely places for coffee. Mile End tube station is about ten minutes walk away and there are several bus stops nearby so it's well connected to the rest of London. Lotje is a great host and the house is beautifully decorated with great furniture and some good artwork, it's a great place to explore London from!

Lovely place to stay in East London. The photos can't do this little gem justice! Lotje very generously left coffee & fruit in the kitchen for us. There are shops & a cafe very nearby which are super handy.

Lotje was the perfect host, I would highly recommend staying in her beautiful house. It is located in a beautifully green part of London, where the canal meets Victoria Park. Chisenhale Road is a charming, quiet street plenty of good options nearby for coffee and restaurants. It is also well connected with public transport only a short walk away. The house is bright, spacious and tastefully decorated with Danish furniture. It is immaculately clean too, with a gorgeous kitchen that Lotje kindly stocked up with breakfast goods. I have already recommended Lotje's house to friends and family as the perfect place to stay for a trip to London.

Lotje went out of her way to make my parents feel welcome in her stunning home. They loved their stay in her beautiful house and we would highly recommend her property. It's location near the park, restaurants and public transport is ideal and made for a wonderful weekend away. Thank you so much!

Beautiful house just round the corner from Victoria Park, could not have been more convenient for our trip to London. The apartment was very clean and Lotje left us with lots of nice food. The place had everything we needed and is located in a very nice area. We will definitely be staying again.

A place like Lotje's makes you forget that you are in the metropolitan city that is London. Her house is in a residential area, with people from all walks of life and close to a primary school which really gives you the sense of living in a neighborhood, a fact I really liked. Lotje's home has lots of style and character and is very cosy. There are some lovely coffee places around as well, where you can work or just hang out, and there is a buddhist center as well, where I went to have a look on Lotje's recommendation. I also went for a walk in the area and was surprised at how green it was and to find a canal-I went for a long walk and ended up in Victoria Park and then Hackney. As for public transportation the number 8 bus runs day and night, and is a 5 minutes away from the house. It took me right to places such as Brick Lane and Tottenham Court Rd. There are also two tube stops close in the area, I used Bethnal Green which got me into town very fast. Communication with Lotje was very quick and easy. All in all it was a very positive experience. In the sea of Airb&b homes it can be challenging to find the right place to stay, but I would certainly book to stay here again. Thanks Lotje!

The host was very gracious and very knowledgeable about the area. This is a beautiful, well appointed London town-house, that is very close to the park and its amazing lakeside café (a loop round Victoria Park provided me with a perfect 5km run). The combination of a warm host, a great location, a well appointed interior and a quiet neighbourhood make this an A++ for me.
