Lovely quiet place to stay. Helena is a welcoming host and easily available for questions. Although house is located up a hill, it is an easy walk down to the Main Street and there is a good shortcut. Recommend the crystal healing. Nice energy in this house.

Helena is welcoming and friendly, considerately transporting my friend and I from in town (where our bus arrived) to her house up a hill. Regarding location, it is a 10-15 minute walk to the high street, and the steepness is fine providing one is of fair health and enjoy a brief walk. One can see the Tor from the windows of Helena's house; walking to the Tor is also quicker straight from Helena's rather than starting on the high street. The twin room is exactly as the photo shows, with pleasant decor. Good breakfast options for vegetarians and vegans. Helena is an especially great host if you are visiting Glastonbury as a spiritual seeker or with an interest in the esoteric- along with being an astrologer she knows a thing or two about 'the metaphysical'. Conversations with her about such topics helped contextualise various spooky, or spiritual, experiences at various places in the town. Lastly, her information pack about transport, tourist attractions and events was very helpful. If/when I return to Glastonbury I will be sure to see if the dates at hers are available before looking elsewhere.

Fantastic spot. So glad I chose this airbnb. Helena is very easy to get a long with and as a longer time resident she knows a lot about the location. Everything is well organized, clean and you get a welcome packet with more information about Glastonbury and what to do. Morning breakfast is delicious and plentiful. There are 3 cats and they are some of the friendliest cats I have ever met. Had one on my lap purring with 10 minutes of being there! Room is quiet, bathroom clean and it is a quick walk from the location to high street. Glastonbury itself is incredible and I highly recommend. I will definitely be back!

Helena was very kind to keep in touch often before I arrived in Glastonbury. As I arrived late in the afternoon with luggage, she was kind to meet me at the bus stop to give me a ride to her house. After introducing me to her 3 cats, we got along well and enjoyed daily chats on my daily experiences in Glastonbury. The room I stayed in upstairs was clean, comfortable and lovely with a window view of the Tor and beautiful sunrise. Helena provided comfy towels during my stay and welcomed me to enjoy breakfast, fruits and tea/coffee while I was there. There was enough space for my luggage in the room and space for me to walk about and I could use the chest of drawers in the room for my things. There was a separate large bathroom with hot shower and a bath tub. The hot shower was much appreciated during the cold weather we had! I enjoyed walking to town daily and although there is a short cut to town with a downhill walk, coming back can be a little tiring as you walk uphill but in Glastonbury there is no rush and I enjoyed appreciating the buildings, plants and people as I walked back to Helena's place. Taxis are available in town but I did not try any. So I wouldn't worry if someone did not want to walk back and forth. I loved the quiet neighbourhood and friendly people. Helena would chat with me when she's around to see how I was doing and she certainly made me feel at home and relaxed.

Glastonbury a nice place to stay for a day or two. We enjoyed walking to the Tor, the Abbey, Chalice Wells and the centre. Glastonbury is a peaceful place. Most restaurants are oke except for Elaichi Tandoori. We enjoyed our stay in Glastonbury.

I have lived in Glastonbury for 10 Years having lived and travelled all over the UK with work and happy to call it 'home'. I work as an Astrologer and with animals making natural remedies for them. I have a particular love of horses.
