Can smoke on porches. Service dogs always welcome. I have 1 cat and 1 dog, while they do not hang out in the rooms, my guests have been known to invite the felines in for a visit. I haven't had any one have an allergic reaction to my pets, but maybe choosing a pet free accommodation would better meet your needs. I do not have cots or rollaways available.

Comfortable bed, great breakfast and a gracious host. The house is steeped in history so grab a cup of her wonderful coffee or tea and start perusing, there's something in every corner to take in.

This is a must if your traveling through Rawlings, Wyoming! Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived from the greeting and history of the place to her graciousness throughout our stay! Her breakfast was delicious to start our day as we continued on our road trip

If you are planning on stopping anywhere near Rawlins for the night, stay in Rawlins at the Ferris Mansion. The mansion is gorgeous and fun and has been beautifully restored. And Kaye-Marie is super friendly. We were greeted by name, given a tour, and made to feel right at home. Only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

Oh sakes, should have told you about the extra pillows in the closet. I like that you thought my house was fun. Yay fun!

Kaye-Marie made us very welcome. The room was beautiful as was the house. Excellent breakfast and everything was spotlessly clean. Strongly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

My parents bought this mansion back in 1978. It had been converted into apartments in the late 1930's. I was 15 and not happy to be moving into a house that had been unloved for 40 years. It was icky. But then the love began! Completely and meticulously restored to original grandeur. I really didn't think the mansion was going to be a part of journey, my parents were going to sell 12 years ago but didn't. This became our journey to care for them and the house after health issues came up with them 10 years ago. Reopening the Ferris Mansion Bed and Breakfast 6 years ago, I have made friends from all over the world. It is true that Rawlins isn't a destination town but it is a fabulous location because it is a nice days drive to Yellowstone/Jackson Hole Wy, Boise ID, Salt Lake City, UT, Denver CO, Mount Rushmore, SD and however far you want to drive into Nebraska. There are 2 fabulous mountain ranges and hour from here, Snowy Range and the Sierra Madre Mountain Range. Spectacular fishing on Platte or Encampment Rivers is a quick jaunt 40- 60 miles south. Just a block away is the Wyoming Frontier Prison and you can tour that in the summer.
