We were a couple staying here and Macha's place is a perfect size for two. I would suggest three people as the bathroom is only accessible via the bedroom. Bed was very comfortable and shower was great! Kitchenette was fully equipped with kettle, fridge small stove etc enough to cook a small meal on. It is worth noting that only hand towels provided so do bring your own towels. Location is fantastic- 5-10 mins walk from Anvers/Barbes-rochechuart. Super close to Sacré-cœur (5-10 min walk). A great, small flat perfect for sleeping in -and very secure. We enjoyed our stay very much : )

Overall our stay was fine. At first we were disappointed with the location - It would have been helpful to know that the closest metro was closed (until May 2017) and it was about minutes to the nicer area of Montmarte. There were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The bedroom was spacious but kitchen very small. We were not satisfied with the cleanliness. The photos do not accurately represent the space.

I don't know how to start explaining my stay at Macha's. It was extraodinary and special. Macha was a great host, before our stay she makes the check in process easier. The place is perfect, near the bus stops (Muller) and also metro who stops at a lot of touristic places. The wifi connection is great and also the cafes near the place are wonderful! I really recommend the place to all of you who will spend lots of days in paris especially in quartier Montmartre.

Macha was a great host. Easy and helpful with all types of questions. The place is bright, tiny and modern. It's like a bank vault on a backyard. It's central, quite and we felt very safe. Just outside on the street we found a great restaurant and the (2nd) greatest bauguettes of Paris.

Macha was a fantastic host. She was very timely and helpful in our correspondence and suggested best ways to get around the neighbourhood and the city. The apartment is lovely and bright, with a beautiful courtyard. Cozy bedroom and living room/kitchen await! If you're looking for a place that feels like home while in Paris hers is the apartment. The building is safe and clean; and the neighbourhood diverse with a grocery store, bakery, and coffee shops near by. It is close to the main train station (if you are coming from or going to the UK or elsewhere in Europe by train), public transit, and a nice walk away from all the central sights in Paris. Looking forward to staying here on my next visit!

My husband and I had such a wonderful time at Macha's home. It was not only beautiful and clean, but it was located in a wonderful area as well. Macha was extremely accommodating and very helpful any time there was a snag in our schedule. We're grateful for the time we had there and look forward to staying there again!

Pros: Macha was unbelievably responsive prior to, and during, our stay. She gave a great recommendation for dinner that is just 2 doors down. The room is within walking distance of Sacre Coeur. The bed was very comfortable. Their is a great restaurant that is only 2 doors down that were very friendly and spoke very good English. Cons: Even though the listing says their is A/C and television their was neither one. We did not miss either one too much though because it was unseasonably cool and by the time we got back to the room every day we were too tired for television. The refrigerator smelled very badly when we arrived. When we notified Macha she offered to have the cleaning lady come back to clean it but we were leaving the next day. The bathroom is rather small but not that much different than a small apartment like this in Paris. The other tenants in the building on occasion were a little noisy when putting empty wine bottles and garbage in the community trash cans but it wasn't too bad. Overall I would say that we had an overall pleasant stay and was definitely a good value.
