If you like vintage furniture, huge windows, old hardwood floors, lots of huge trees and plants, and being right next to the subway, this place is for you. Eco-friendly too! Fancy water filters and compost bins. If you're into that sort of thing.

The space

Huge loft with hardwood floors, clean, neat, no clutter, the second you step inside you feel comfortable. Big windows let in lots of morning light. Fresh air is provided by lots of wonderful plants and palm trees. Three couches allow for maximum lounging. Sleep well in a comfy full size bed.

We have a great list of restaurants and bakeries that will make your stay in New York ultra-pleasurable! There are many choices out there, but trust our list, we live here after all!
Just a 30 second walk from the L train, which takes you to the center of Manhattan, Union Square, in 20 minutes, and to hip Williamsburg in just 10 minutes.

Room and apartment were accurately described. The apartment is lovely and housemate James was very welcoming.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maciek's apartment in Brooklyn. The place was clean, spacious and comfy with a creative vibe. Maciek was a excellence host who gave us really good tips on where to eat and drink, and even helped us get into the MoMA for much cheaper. The location was great, very up and coming area with craft beer bars and good restaurants close by. It's not too busy around that area too which is a nice relaxing break from the crowds of Manhattan. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks Maciek!

This loft had so much character, as did its hosts, Maciek and Jason. They were extremely well-versed in the wonderful world of music, film, fine art, and literature. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to find an authentic, affordable New York location.

Maciek and his flatmate Jason are two young artists who are very helpful and kind they immediately asked me what questions I had to ask them. With their assistance I managed to find my way around New York finding Brooklyn an interesting and safe neighbourhood, the apartment being close to the Metro. When I am next in New York I will book to stay with them again.
