House rules
This place isn’t suitable for children under 12 and the host doesn’t allow pets or smoking.
This bedroom feels the most private/secluded in the house, and has good sunlight and space. Come downstairs, and you'll find a super homely living room to hang out in.

Your room also looks over Brick Lane, which is a world famous location for the chocolate shop, cool cocktail bars, cafe's, clubs, vintage stores, markets, galleries and more!

All our housemates are super friendly, open-minded, entrepreneurial minds, so if you'd like to be in that vibe we'd love to host you.

The space
We call our house "CoHome" and we started it as a co-living space just over a year ago. It's an awesome shared creative space for both younger and older people alike and all our housemates are either entrepreneurs, creatives or involved within the startup tech industry in some shape or form.

We are all super friendly and tend to focus our house on just great connections and good energy, so if you are friendly, looking for a temporary place to feel home, be surrounded by good energy, cook food and just kick back and relax right in the central hub of London, you've found the perfect spot!

Guest access
You'll have access to your room, 2 bathrooms, the living room, and the kitchen. There's also a rooftop terrace to smoke on if you like.

Feel free to use the showers and kitchen. Towels will be sitting on your bed when you arrive, and extra toilet rolls are there in the bathrooms. Help yourself to most of the products in the shower.

You can use washing machine & dryer: Just ask us, or if we're nota round then the laundry detergent is next to the shoe rack (Use just over half a cup).

You're also welcome to use all the pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, wine glasses, etc, and please do help yourself for the tea and coffee in the cabinet :)

Other things to note
Since we're literally on Brick Lane, you might find yourself falling asleep to some street noise (shouting or revving car engines). It's worse on Friday & Saturday nights, has some risk on Thursday and Sundays, and is rarely disruptive for the rest of the week.
Most of our guests are ok with the noise, but we've had a couple guests struggle to sleep: If you're a sensitive sleeper, do consider whether this booking is right for you.

It's also worth noting that sometimes the shower is a bit crappy: Once a fortnight people do find themselves waiting a couple minutes for the cold water to come back. We're really sorry if this happens to you - the landlord's telling us there's nothing he can do!

Also, smokers! We have an outdoor rooftop terrace which you can use :)

Since we live right on the world famous Brick Lane, there is a large choice of the places to eat (including some of the best Indian restaurants in the world), music, shopping, vintage stores, buskers, pubs, bars, clubs and flea markets within no more than a 5 minute walk.

This area (Shoreditch) is a thriving neighbourhood for startups, entrepreneurs, creatives, artists and musicians who exhibit their work at shows, galleries and events in the area all year round. This area earned its global reputation for its art and boasts a ton of beautiful sculptures, art installations, wall pieces, murals and well known graffiti pieces made by some of the greatest graffiti artists in the world! (don't be surprised if you see a tour group being told the story of the gigantic 4 story graffiti Stalk, visible from our kitchen window!)

P.S. Every Sunday there is a buzzing chain of markets filled with people from all over London that come to experience it. There you will find the Sunday Upmarket and Backyard Market at the Old Truman Brewery where you’ll be able to browse a huge collection of foods from all over the world, vintage fashion, jewellery, music, art and crafts!

I love meeting new people, and learning about life through the diverse people that come through our home. I work with digital products in the startup industry, and have started a few ventures myself. You might catch me on a busy day but if I can relax I'll be playing music or having great people come through our house. No matter what, I'll make sure your check in is smooth and your stay is comfortable in every way I can. :)
