The space

One bedroom apartment can accommodate up to 4 persons and consist of one double bed in the bedroom, sofa bed in the living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and furnished balcony with sea view.

Guest access

Guest have their own entrance, free parking, shared terrace where owners can provide breakfast, lunch or dinner on request. You can try some of the fresh caught fish or traditional seafood dishes.
There is possibility of renting bikes for 100 HRK daily.

Interaction with guests

Our family house in situated in a protected part of National Park, and all guests need to pay entrance fee to National Park lakes to stay with us. Once entrance is paid, there is no need to pay again for whole vacation. Entrance fee is 100 HRK and you need to pay it anyway if you want to visit lakes. :)
If you need a transfer from port (Pomena or Polace) to Soline, owners can provide that service for a small additional charge.

The neighbourhood

Soline is a part of National Park and it´s situated just on the lake. Actually on the point where the sea meets the lake. :)
You can swim just in front or take a walk along the lake and find some hidden paradise just for you.

Getting around

When coming to Mljet, you must enter the national park and pay entrance to National Park. Entrance ticket is valid for all days of your stay so you don't have to buy it every time you go outside and coming back to National Park.
Again, If you need a transfer from port (Pomena or Polace) to Soline, owners can provide that service for a small additional charge.


House Rules

Guests are responsible for their belongings left in the accommodation. Owners will not held responsibility for the subsequent loss.
When going out, be sure to lock the doors and windows, close sunshades, switch off the lights and all electrical appliances (TV, air-conditioning, stove, etc.).
Guests are responsible for their behavior during their stay. In the case of an accident they shall bear the consequences themselves. Destruction of equipment and furniture, causing disorder and disturbance of other guests is prohibited and it is forbidden to remove appliances and equipment from the premises. In the event of disappearance or damage to accommodation, the guest is obliged to notify the owner. If this occurred due to the guests' fault, full reimbursement will be requested.
If the owners have any reason to believe that house rules are violated; the guests have to let them enter in the accommodation in order to check the situation.
It is not allowed to bring any weapon, inflammable or explosive substances or products with strong or unpleasant smell. In the event of disregard of house rules, the owner has the right to refuse further service.

The host wasn't there when we arrived and the owner who was supposed to pick us up didn't show up either. We had to chase the host for a while before we finally got a reply that we just had to take a taxi. So we didn't feel welcome. The Cozy apt. was not nice at all, it was very old and bug infested and just depressing. We were very disappointed. The Modern apt. has potential, but there are lots of things unfinished or not working. The shower leaked a lot of water and despite the fact that we were told someone was coming to have a look at it, that never happened. The Modern apt. could greatly benefit from air condition (there was only a fan), to make the temperature bearable and to help keep the bugs out. We paid around €450 for 4 nights so it was €113 all in for both apt's per night - very very overpriced, even for Mljet in peak season and not worth it. We felt that the Cozy apt (we had to stay there for 1 night) was not fit at all to be rented out to be honest. The owners, though Im sure hard working people, were not helpful or friendly. We had to ask ourselves for basic items such as towels (because of the flooding due to the shower leak), toilet paper, washing up brush... and when we left they didn't get up to say goodbye, thank you or anything. We didn't feel welcome. The location is close to the water, which is fabulous. We loved the island, the swimming and snorkeling!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is located in a nice and quiet part of Mljet national park (Soline village). It is well equipped and quite convenient to explore the park. Internet was very fast, which surprised us in such a remote location. However, communication with the host could have been better. It was not very clear who was in charge of the apartment, especially when we arrived. Some equipment was a bit old: in particular the shower was leaking.
