Homely, traditional stone house located in the Arribes del Duero Natural Park, declared by UNESCO a Biosphere Reserve. The house is placed in the village of Zarza de Pumareda, in the Portuguese border area:
The house is surrounded by beauty and peacefulness, in a quiet country area. It’s a beautiful rural setting perfect for escaping and relaxing in the middle of nature.
The house was built by my great-grandparents one century ago and it’s being gradually reformed with the help of my uncle Bosco.
It’s a modest, spacious and light house. Guests are allowed to use all the house. Feel welcome to discover it and feel at home.
Relax yourself, do some exercise and enjoy the natural and protected surroundings, taking it easy in a traditional house which offers you everything you need.
Rustic and homely inside; the house has a wide living room. The main floor has a double room; a room with a double bed and bunk beds, a bathroom (shower, toilet, shower gel, hair drier), living room and kitchen. On the first floor, there is a wide living room.
The modest kitchen is equipped with everything you need: cooker, freezer, microwave, coffee machine and washing machine.
There are books and board games available. Please, treat them kindly so that other guests can enjoy them.
I will provide you with all the touristic information you may need to enjoy an unforgettable stay: cycling paths, hiking, river cruisers, fishing, canoe rental, kayaks, etc.
There is free wifi in some areas of the village.

In the village of Zarza de Pumareda there is only one store, placed 150 metres from the house, and it’s very well stocked!
We also have a coffee bar.
Everybody will be happy to help you with everything you need.
Respect nature and the surroundings. It’s a magic place.
Don’t smoke inside the house.
Dogs are allowed, but please, don’t let them jump on the settee or beds.
The little objects you may find are there to guarantee a nice stay. Please don’t take them so that other guests can enjoy the same as you.
Remember I’m still renewing the house little by little, so there are still some things to do. It’s an ongoing personal project.
