Enjoy your own private studio, with private entrance on a quiet street surrounded by National Forest. The studio has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, private bathroom, lounge area with a gas fire place and kitchenette. There is a futon in the lounge that will sleep 1 more.
We are surrounded by lots of great mountain bike/hiking trails, 15 minutes to the lake, and three ski resorts within a thirty minute drive. Perfect location for a fun stay.

The space
A comfortable studio with private bedroom, private full bathroom. This is the bottom floor of our three story house, it's a little over 600 sq. ft. Lounge area with futon for extra bed, couch and chair. The kitchenette includes fridge, microwave, sink, toaster, silverware and plates. Wifi and internet TV for when you want to relax after a day of adventure. The décor is modern with some Tahoe touches.
We are surrounded by great hiking and mountain bike trails, with several within walking/riding distance. We're also about a 15 minute drive away from several great beaches. And during the winter, easy access to Heavenly, Sierra at Tahoe, and Kirkwood ski resorts. Then to top it off, we're 20 minutes away from the stateline area, with the casinos and shops.

I am a longtime Tahoe local. I've lived here most of my life and embrace everything that the mountains have to offer. I am a former ski patroller, fly fishing guide, and adventure sports store manager. I am an avid mountain biker and love getting out on the Lake and hiking trails. I am also a photographer; regularly shooting landscapes and action sports. Since marrying my wife I have expanded my adventures to England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Belgium, France, Canada and New Zealand. My wife is originally from the UK and has traveled extensively across every continent except Antarctica - but she tells me that is still on the list! We have a young son and are enjoying introducing him to the best of life in the mountains.

My wife and I will be available for advice and guidance for your Tahoe adventure. I am willing to help you out with mountain biking, kayaking and paddle boarding excursions. I am a photographer and would be happy to help you plan a sight-seeing photography day. To get a feel for my style just look at the pictures on the walls! Details on local places of interest, trails and restaurants are available in the guestbook and we like to invite guests to join us for a beer or glass of wine during their stay so we can share our local knowledge, information and stories.
