King George Street in Tel Aviv (aka King George) is one of the main streets in the city. The street stretches from Masaryk Square in the north to Magen David Square in the south, where it meets Allenby and Shinkin Streets, Bezalel Market, Hakarmel Market and Nahalat Binyamin pedestrian mall. The street was named in honour of George V, King of the United Kingdom at the beginning of the British Mandate.
