Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
Brambles Reach is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom rustic barn conversion located on the Stody Estate in North Norfolk.
Tucked away off a leafy lane, down a drive way, the barn is in a tranquil setting. Attached to the main farm house, where we reside, the barn is surrounded by our beautiful if sometimes slightly overgrown gardens, allotments, and Shaun's amazing lawn. To one side, there is the ancient Stody church yard, with just the Saxon Tower remaining - so very quiet neighbours!

The space
Brambles Reach is an old converted barn on the edge of an historic farmhouse - dating back to the 1600's. This beautiful old flint barn was converted 10 years ago. It became ours recently and we have made it our own. It's not your average Air Bnb property - so bare that in mind.

Everybody who comes into this space comments on the feel. It is a lovely open space downstairs, with big doors looking out over the garden and surrounding meadows. The nature here is amazing. Expect to watch families of hares, woodpecker, deer in the evenings.

There is a cosy lounge snug, a dining area in front of the windows, a wood burner, and a home built brand new scandi kitchen at one end. It's not all mod cons but you'll have an induction hob, toaster, kettle, microwave and air fryer/small oven. Kitchen essentials provided.

There's a patio outside with picnic bench, a bbq and fire pit and garden access - feel free to use the lawn adjacent to the barn and the large lawn too. There's also a forest bit with a rope swing.

Upstairs there are 2 on-suite bedrooms. The bathrooms are nice, clean, with a bath and shower in each and a good size and heated. There will be hand / body wash and shampoo and conditioner by Faith in Nature Rose in each and towels for each person.

We are both designers so the barn is full of interesting things to look at with lots of items for sale. Art on the walls - unique bed linens, antiques and vintage books.

We are surrounded by green space here. Situated on a half acre plot with lawn, fruit trees and allotment - and on the other side the church yard,. A very secluded setting indeed. You are most welcome to make use of the lawns - the garden is full of medicinal plants and herbs - if you like gardening, let me know! I can provide gloves and secateurs!! And if your visit coincides with the harvesting of the fruit and vegetables, you can be rewarded with delicious produce.

Guest access
The whole of Brambles Reach is for you to use. It is self contained - with a patio and garden space of it's own. You are also free to enjoy the main garden.

Please note, there are no artificial fragrances used in the cleaning and preparation of the accommodation. If I could ask you not to spray any fragrance into the space while staying with us, that would be greatly appreciated.

No doggies at this point, sorry.

Hello! I live in North Norfolk, and started my little glamping venture with local stately home owners the Walpoles at Mannington Hall, and then expanded to the lovely Wiveton Hall. This year, we have two new sites in Norfolk, and two more in Shropshire and Worcestershire!
