My husband, toddler daughter and I stayed at Bart's place for four nights. The apartment was clean, nicely designed and decorated, and got a lot of nice sunlight. The bathroom was nice and roomy, with two sinks. The kitchen had all the basic essentials for us to cook a few meals, but lacked a couple of conveniences that might be useful for a longer stay, such as a freezer and microwave. Location was great, easy to get to all parts of the city via the metro and tram. Friendly, accommodating and responsive communication from booking, to check-in, and throughout our stay!

The apartment was bigger than expended. Very clean and had a nice smell when you arrive. Bedroom in the back faces the water and looked very pretty. the living area in the front has a large dining table with large tall windows facing the street. really high ceilings. the kitchen was nice with a refrigerator, dishwasher, and even washing machine. the washing machine was in dutch so we had to look up what everything meant but figured it out. there was a nice bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub and two sinks so my girlfriend and i didnt have to share when getting ready in the morning. the toilet is separate from the bathroom with sinks and bathtub which was weird but probably a European thing. One thing that was really strange was the shower head in the bathroom was on long side of tub meaning when you turn on the shower head it sprays water towards the shower curtain instead of facing the front like a tradition shower (if that makes sense, looks at photos). The bedroom has a nice size, not to big not too small. the bed was super comfortable with a small outdoor terrace. The front of the apartment also has a small outdoor terrace but not as big as the one by the bedroom. overall the place is relatively quiet. didnt have any run ins with neighbors or complaints with people while i was staying there. about a mile walking distance from main souvenir shops and other attractions. We took Uber most of the time to get anywhere farther than 2 miles even though the public trans station was right outside. truthfully we didnt really have any complaints about the stay here other than the fact that we could've been supplied with a few more pillows and a couple blankets to warm up in after a long day of being a tourist and put our feet up to watch tv. Would definitely recommend staying here! If we were traveling back to Amsterdam soon we would probably save up a few extra bucks to stay here again instead of a crappy 3 star hotel. for what you pay for you get basically an entire home for the price of what you spend at a hotel. Thank you again Bart! Also, we had a hotel and chose to leave because our hotel sucked and contacted Bart the same day we checked into our hotel. A few hours later we found ourselves checking into Bart's home feeling welcome and it completely turned our trip around making way more memorable! Thank again!!

This apartment is in the perfect location to experience Amsterdam, only a short cycle to all of the cities main attractions and right next to Weesperplein metro station so the ideal place for private or business travel. The apartment is beautiful and very welcoming, the kind of place you wished you lived in all the time. The hosts were excellent and quickly responded to any questions.

Really great place, highly recommended. It's clean and modern, and fully equipped. Awesome kitchen, and full terrace in the back. Huge windows in the front. Perfect location, just in front of a metro, and very walkable area. The host was really responsive and kind. We also really loved the photography throughout the house. Highly recommended and many thanks to the host.
